Cat and Nat's Mom Truths: Embarrassing Stories and Brutally Honest Advice on the Extremely Real Struggle of Motherhood

Negative but high ranking
This is a wife posting the review on her husbands account haha!Below is kind of a negative review but I am still putting 5 stars because it does take an extremely large amount of work to create and publish a book. Cat & Nat put lots of time and dedication into making a book for their viewers. They are excellent people and I don't want what I am about to present to you make the authors look any less amazing and credible for the hard work they put into making this book possible.I have purchased the Mom Truth's book expecting it to be lots of very inappropriate funny moments. The book does have some of these moments; however, the book seems to mainly focus on the negativity of creating a beautiful human inside of you along with all the negatives of having and raising the children. I am a strong follower/supporter of Cat & Nat but expected more of an inappropriate aspect. I am happily married with no children so the book doesn't exactly fit my taste. It actually kind of feared me to look into having children in the future due to all the negative things that were said in this book about pregnancy and mainly childbirth. I know they were being honest but in my opinion, maybe too honest.Cat & Nat are great public figures and I hope they come out with another book, maybe more inappropriate, but in the meantime, I do not enjoy the book.I was going to keep it as a keeps sake, however, once I got pretty far into the book (also just to support them by reading it) the pages started separating. I am probably going to return the book but unsure if I want a new one. I would love to have one signed by Cat & Nat as a keeps sake but I don't know the first step in making the possible. I would only keep it if it was signed at this point...Again, great job Cat & Nat for coming out with a book, I would love to read your second one if you choose to come out with a second one and hopefully it would be more my style.

But this book
As a new mom in 2017 I discovered Cat and Nat like most people do. Through there videos posted on FB and Instagram of them in there car discussing what it’s like to be a mom. My favorite video was the one “the truth about after the baby is born.” They told you flat out what was going to happen to you after the birth of your baby. Everyone always talks about what happens to the baby. But no one talks about the endless maxi/diaper size pads, or the hideous underwear. The ugly but comfortable socks and the disgusting hospital gown. This book is exactly like that video. I haven’t finished it because I am savoring every chapter. I have about 3 left. One of my favorites is there discussion on sex after kids. I won’t give away the Mom secrets but needless to say when Cat said “Penis Free Living.” I was crying I was laughing so hard. Thank you ladies for reminding us that although we are moms we are still human. We are not perfect. But we strive to be every morning when we get up. It’s just by noon our kids have drilled it out of us and here comes the momster. I’m so excited to be seeing you guys in May Live. If your reading this review I suggest you click buy. It’s like the mom bible. Your not alone. Because these two amazing women have been there. But then you learn so has everyone else.

If your a woman, a mom, or have a mom go buy this right now!!!
Ever wondered why your mom might have been a bit "crazy" every now and again??? Want a book that not only let's you feel a little less "crazy" but also let's you see how beyond "normal" it is to hid and question your sanity at least a few times a week? Or are you past that part and ready for some real life stories that might even better then your best/worst ones?? Look no further this one has it all for you told by some incredibly real and hilarious women. From the moment I opened the book it was like I was sitting down with my girls and dishing on life, and not the fake "dishing of your life being so calm and put together" but the real stories you usually just hid from with a nice glass of wine at the end of an incredibly long day!! On top of all that its a very easy book to pick up and read and put down... Being a mom we all know how that is an uber convenience factor... Admittedly though that part I had a hard time with!😉 Every women, mom and I'm sure even some men and dads will enjoy the realness that is this Momtruths book. Cat and Nat you never disappoint and surely didn't on this one, can't wait for another!!😉

Everyone needs a book like this in their life!!
OMG this book was so amazing I read it in a day and a half I just couldn't put it down. Super easy to read and for someone who doesn't like to read the chapters are super short I think the longest one was like 4 to 5 pages long!! There is so many amazing things about this book I can't simply pick one but one of my favorites was the connection that Nat had with Olivia and how she helped her through something it's truly amazing!! Or when you both talk about how you met your husbands and how you were engaged Cat's story had me rolling I would have reacted the same way and I have been waiting for a book like this it's full of honesty and truth about all the things no one wants to talk about when you give birth to a baby or even after all that this book truly highlights what it's like to be a mom wife daughter sister and friend totally helped me be able to connect with Cat and Nat on a whole new level. It's soul barring and totally amazing it's something i will cherish forever!!

Wasn’t what I was looking for but easy fun to read
I had high expectations for this book. So excited to read I even bought it for a friend. I kinda wish I had read it first. I didn’t find it as entertaining as I might have if I wasn’t already passed this season of motherhood. I have teenagers. I was craving more than relatable stories. I was looking for something inspirational and it just wasn’t like that for me.

Yes yes yes
I didn't think as a single mum of one that I could relate to this book but that's literally the point of the book, cat & nat have blazed the path to women not judging women, to openness about motherhood instead of judgy pain. Thank you ladies, I feel i will read this book again at each milestone xxx

Now this is the TRUE parenting book we all need!
This is legit my favourite parenting book yet!!! It is just so relatable and helped bring me back to centre and realize everything will be ok! It was written the way they speak which made it an awesome read! Nice short chapters that are easy to put the book down cause we are needed somewhere else!! I legit almost cried on the last page! 1) because I didn’t want the book to end and 2) because it was the reassurance we all need to keep moving forward in this crazy whirlwind of motherhood! Great job ladies and please write more!!! I may even write something of my own as a keepsake for my daughters when they grow up!!! 😘

The most badly written book I've ever purchased, repetitive messaging
This is a terribly written, repetitive book that I am sad to have paid £10 for! Every chapter is a set of lists - including "10 reasons why being a Mom in the 50's was way better than today". Their wit and banter shines through in other formats, but not at all in this book which would read better if it were written by a couple of 10 year olds.
