This is the second one of these I've purchased. I love it. Easy to install, easy to use, very sturdy. It allows me to track my rides and view speed, etc. while riding. Got the red this time -- very pretty.

Mountain biking I'm always stopping to check the map. This keeps the phone handy. Super sturdy and trustworthy. I liked it so much I bought a second for my road bike. Also nice that you can quickly release phone if you want to take a photo. The metal is so much more durable than my friends' plastic phone holders. Great product. Please note that you have to remove your phone from its case, otherwise it won't fit. Some people might fret that their phone would get scratched.

This phone mount is extremely stable and build quality puts the others to shame. I've put these on two bikes that see a lot of miles including off-road and this mount stays put and works great. I've use several other mounts that were plastic and did not last long at all and always worried they would fall apart during rides. This mount is great.

Samsung note 9 on my XR650L and while i was 90% that in of itself would be enough but i used a rubber band just to be sure.the box showed up from the delivery guy and i had this mounted up and adjusted in about 10 mins, comes with a couple of 3m rubber pad w/ sticky back for the "prongs" to increase grip and deal with the different curvatures of various phones, putting those on actually took the longest, the plate has a 360 degree rotation with a ratchet type lock and a bhcs that holds it in position. the clamp uses a keyed bhcs that requires a special allen key to tighten or loosen. nothing that special but also not something that a thief is just going to have in their tool kit...that said i'm not sure i'm worried about my $15 mount getting stolen.anyways, mounted it up, went on a 10 mile ride up to my local dirt roads and mountain trails, did about 15 miles of forest service roads and about 10 miles of single track with large rocks, roots and rocks, the mount stayed solid and my phone stable. as i said at the start i'm pretty sure my phone would have stayed secured without the use of the wifes hairtie but i'm still going to use some sort of band just to be on the safe side.i would like the prongs to be a bit longer as if the back of your phone case isn't flat the phone will sit up in the mount and while it's ok and obviously works it just makes me a bit nervous seeing a gap between my phone and the mount... i think the back of the case and it's design is more important than thickness here, there seemed to be more than enough adjustment to accommodate my note 9 and my UAG case.regardless, this mount is 1/5 the cost of the ram mount,looks great on my bike and so far so good in function, if it was going to shake loose it would have happened on some of the drops i hit earlier today, so cruising on the roads it should be more than secure.

I’ve used several different types of phone mounts. This one definitely is the easiest one to put a phone in and out. No rubber bands to fuss with. You can practically do it one handed.Solid mount.

Nice quality, all aluminum, zero plastic, flawless anodized finish, simple installation (install one hex screw to hold to the bar and tighten another that holds the phone mount to the bar mount). Comes with 2 sets of plastic bar clamp inserts for different sized bars.Grips the phone and the handlebar well, very secure. After I installed the unit I took a quick 5 mile ride over some pretty good bumps and curbs and the phone held solid.The one item missing is a rubber coating on the metal claws that hold the phone in place. If I didn’t have a thin plastic case on my phone, I’d be concerned about those claws scratching the phone finish.That’s not an issue for me so I gave the case 5 stars but if you don’t have a thin case on your phone this phone mount could be rated 4 stars. I upgraded my review fro 3 to 5 stars after extensive use this phone holder works great. The feet are too thin for my case but my phone stays on just fine with this thin strip of Velcro around it even at high speed and a lot of vibration. I use the elastic straps also even though they are a 1 star. I now have 2.Original review:Phone fell off on first bike ride so the silicone strap is useless. If I hadn’t been using a corded headphones the phone would have hit the pavement. The clips are not made for a case on the phone and who would use a phone without one? I haven’t seen any holders like this that where made for a phone in a case. I wouldn’t have a phone without my otter box cover as I’ve had it fall down stairs with no damage so I wouldn’t take a chance of no cover on my bike or motorcycle. I intend on trying it again with a Velcro wrap across the phone even though it will limit the view of my GPS screen. I had another holder made of plastic that wouldn’t hold the phone either so I used Velcro to hold it and I worked great till the plastic that held the phone mount broke. Hopefully the metal will hold up better with the Velcro to hold the phone. I’m giving it three stars as it should be much more sturdy than the plastic ones but the fingers holding the phone should be adjustable for thicker phone cases.

What I like most about this product is that it will hold my iphone 15 promax and its holds on good. However, while I have this on scooter, the con is that it rattles on my scooter
