Disturbing
Bardem and Cruz gave Oscar performances in this soliloquy of a Colombian drug cartel. It was difficult to watch the disregard for animals as well as people. The horse, German Shepherd on the back of a victim beaten with a bat and the release of birds to take down a helicopter made me cringe and I had to look away. The dysfunction of the players, wanton disregard for life and people on the fringe who become victims is represented well, perhaps too well. Not a warm fuzzy feel good movie but an important one.

A gripping story
The story is engaging because it is intense and suspenseful. There is a constant threat of danger to all the characters involved. Many people lose their lives, yet fortunately the film is not too graphically gory. I feel sorry for the characters, and what happened to them.

Sooooo Good!!!!
There was a lot in this movie that I didn’t know occurred. I’m now interested in reading the book. I’m sure it has more details on the emotional connection. The movie had great actors and who did a great job with the Colombian accents even though they are not Colombian.

Within the first 5 minutes I was hooked. One of the best movies I have watched in 2022. Very compelling story told from a very interesting POV Pablo's mistress.

In an American period where the latest movies are filled with liberal racist hate speech propaganda that supports the new communist Biden regime agenda, it is refreshing to finally have a really well-done movie. Hopefully, new movies continue dropping hateful leftist content and the country can heal and watch movies together again. Well done!

Der pure Wahnsinn!
... der Film hat mich defacto fast aus den Socken gehauen. Unterschwellig reichlich Infos zum Verständnis des Medellín-Kartell. Streckenweise Dokumentarisch, was aber gut zum Film passt. Voll spannend, bis zum Ende.... - Also, wem krass erzählte Geschichte aufregt, sollte hier mal rein schaun.
