For anyone weary of all the conflicting diet advice out there
As far as I'm concerned this is the last diet/nutrition book I will buy because it is a good, sensible eating plan and something I can do forever. I've been swinging between LC/ZC/keto for many years and have avoided fruit and carbs (heck I even avoided carrots as they were too high in sugar) but I struggled with cravings and seem to yo-yo the same amount of weight on and off. I I was always hungry, despite claims that fat is satiating and I overate protein. I'm also insulin resistant with a high family history of Type 2 diabetes and was scared of the carbs. I've been watching youtube videos of Dr Rhonda Patrick which got me started on the idea of incorporating more of a plant based diet for the phytophenols and fibre.An internet search on the how to regulate or lower the appestat led me to a sample of this book and I was immediately impressed and made a purchase.This is a sensible approach, good solid advice, no zealotry or dogma. It's not vegan or low fat or high fat, just eat your veggies but enjoy meat also if you wish. After my first rainbow salad I experienced satiety for the first time in years. No more nervously pacing around the kitchen picking and eating, feeling vaguely unsatisfied. Historically a salad to me meant lettuce, tomato and cucumber, but it's the diverse rainbow salad that seems to signal to my body that it's nourished. I am enjoying fruit again (although I still balk at bananas, sorry Doc, that will take some time but it's wonderful to include beans to my salad. My post prandial blood glucose readings have been excellent and I look forward to seeing what my blood and glucose panels will reveal at my next doctor's visit. I highly recommend this book if anyone is sick and tired of all the conflicting diet wars out there.

Life changing
I have bought about 6 copies of this book to give to people after I had gotten my original copy. I cannot say enough about how much this program - even if you just follow the recipes - can change how you feel. I have Fibromyalgia, which I manage through diet and lifestyle (no medication), and while I was doing pretty well before I found this book, once I started following it, I felt as though the condition had vanished entirely.

Highly Recommended for intro to Anti-Inflam lifestyle
excellent book - a nice step by step walk into a complete diet overhaul. This is a way of life (anti-inflam diet) and other books/recipes have made it so clinical and boring that I've never followed thru for long. This book has support from the authors and an active website that frequently offers new recipes, tips and other info in addition to an 'occasional' email if you are on the list. With one of the authors having MS and not being able to deviate from anti-inflam, you can trust their ingredients. Many are expensive but the food selections here are quite generous compared to other books I have. Is nice to see others LIVING anti-inflam lifestyle. I got the book used but it is even worth the retail price if you are serious about moving to a anti-inflam lifestyle.

If you want to change your lifestyle and eat with all the latest nutritional information then this is the book you need. The author cleared symptoms of MS through proper diet rather than medication.My friend let me borrow her copy to look through and decided I needed my own copy because it is a reference book for the kitchen!

Read this for a clean, healthy lifestyle.
This is a great book. It is not a diet at all but a lifestyle of good health. There are too many processed foods on the market these days and I can't pronounce half the words on the labels much less know what the heck they are. This book gets you thinking about getting away from processed foods and more about eating clean, unprocessed foods. I honestly think that if people eat cleaner and stay active they can prevent themselves from taking lots of medications for chronic illnesses. This book teaches you all about that. Some of the information is not really new, but it is very well explained. It is a great book for anyone who wants to eat better, exercise more and feel great!

Clearly outlines the relationship between diet and your health
Wow! This is life-changing. It is so chalk-full of information I 've resorted to high-lighting and marking favorite parts with post its. Everything you need to know about the connection between diet and your health/aging. Can't say enough about this book.

My naturopath recommended that I start on a anti-inflammatory diet. I did a lot of research and eventually got this book from the library. I read half the book the first time I opened it. I immediately ordered it from Amazon. The information is clear, well documented and not hysterical. I eat a very good diet but this book has helped me take it to the next level. Within a week of starting this diet some of my autoimmune symptoms were seeing improvements. I have yet to incorporate all of the recommendations but I am very hopeful that following this "diet" will help me find my way back to excellent health. Except for the smoothie recipes, I have not tried any of the recipes but have looked them over there are several that look quite good. Nutrition information is kind of like technology, every day there is something new. The nice thing is that they also have a website with more information and recipes. I have also signed up for the email updates and have received some tasty looking recipes.

I absolutely adore the Clean Cuisine book! I started to read it a week ago and I've tried out some recipes already. Everything authors lay out to the readers seems to make perfect sense. I have read many books about healthy cooking, lifestyle and this book is a great guide. I especially adore the fact that you can skip right to the cooking section, where you can start experiencing yourself the beauty of a really nourishing cuisine. It is a delicious anti-inflammatory treat to anyone who would like to improve their health, mood and even outlook on life! Remember, we are what we eat!

I loved this book, its my food bible now. I was impressed with all the recipes and the writers are so down to earth. I suffer from inflammation and Ivy's story is helping me understand the cause of it.Paula

It's okay...
Not what I had hoped, but not a bad book either. There are better books out there

Fantastic
This is a great book. Anyone would benefit from reading this book. Ivy Larson is incredible, as is her husband. They have definitely explored all aspects of eating right and the section on exercise is bang on!
