Worth a Read for Kids Everywhere
Some people hate Tim Tebow, and some people love him. There does not seem to be much in between on the Heisman Trophy winning quarterback and ex-NFLer. However, whether you agree with his religious beliefs or not, the Floridian was a great role model for kids, displaying dedication to both his athletic endeavors and his chosen faith and a love for his family and fellow man. And quite frankly, this young reader's edition of his autobiography brings all those good qualities to the forefront and puts into words his own personal beliefs that led him to make the choices in his life that he did make. Now, I know many will view this book as Christian proselytizing, but that would be an inaccurate assessment, because this is a story of a young man's personal journey from child to sports star. While there are Bible verse cited throughout the book and Mr. Tebow never hides his Christian faith, he never attempts to turn this book into anything other than a snapshot of his life and career in football. If any other moral values are taken away by a reader, then that is their own personal choice, not something which is rammed down their throat. All in all, this was a great books for kids. It clearly highlights the dedication it takes to make your way into major college football and the pros as well as highlighting some values that any athlete could endeavor to emulate. However, if you dislike Christians or Mr. Tebow personally, I would not waste my time reading this one.

Confusing and deceptive description
I am very frustrated right now because I thought I ordered the actual Tim Tebow book for my husband for Christmas. I couldn't believe it when it showed up and it was the Young Reader's edition instead of the actual book! It was embarrassing to give it to my husband and try to explain what happened. I came back on this page to double check how I messed that up, and I see that there is nothing in the description or anything on the page to indicate that it's the young reader's version and not the full, adult version of the book. It's a good thing I have a son in fifth grade who loves Tebow! I guess he is going to get the book now, and I will have to get my husband the actual book another time. Now that I have the book, and know that the little circle on the little picture of the cover says Young Reader's edition, but how was I supposed to notice that when I had never seen the book before? It really needs to be written in the description somewhere!

Excellent READ!!!!!
From begining to end this book really got my attention....and my 12 year old boy's attention too. We both love football and it is awsome to read about someone like Tim Tebow who isn't your run of the mill "good sport" he truely is a good sport and further has a very firm faith that is apparent to everyone. I understand after reading this book why other wanna be athletes like Stone Cold Steve Austin has an issue with Tim Tebow. I totally disagree with Austins petty low blows to Tim Tebow for Tim's faith. It is clear who the real sport is here and it is'nt Austin. Tim has truely opened a door as to how sports should be and how important faith is. Funny thing is I am sure if he was muslim or some other odd faith people like Austin wouldnt dare open his mouth. very sad.....GREAT BOOK! Thanks

Was excellent and good for adults if you don't want a ...
This is the children's audio version. It is only 4 hours and is a shortened version of the adult audio version which is about double the listening time. Was excellent and good for adults if you don't want a long audio book. Great story and gives highlights of Tim Tebow's life growing up in his family and experiences that shaped him, his life and experiences in the athletic world and attitudes towards accomplishing things in life. Excellent and motivational!!!!!!!

Im a Tebow fan now
Im a foorball fan, so I wanted to get to know Tebow from all the publicity I had heard about his being a christian, as well as a determined quarterback. I was very much impressed at the adversity this young man has gone through in being made fun of because he loves God and shows it, and also because his hearts desire is to be a quarterback. He comes from a wonderful family. A family he is proud of, as he should be. I greatly admire him as well as his family after reading this book. It also has alot of football info on games he has played in it as well.

Excellent book for young athletes
I am not sure why people are rating this book so low just because they didn't realize it was the youth version of the original book. This is skewing the rating that this book should get! If they did a simple search for "Through My Eyes" or even "Tim Tebow" both versions show up and if you look at both books it is very easy to determine which one is the adult version.I have read both and this version is an excellent read for any young athlete. A great combination of sports, faith, and family stories. His dedication and drive to be the best that he can be is an inspiration to all youth, not just athletes.
