JTI Holiday Elf Horse Hat

Worked great for our Christmas photos. It a good size and fitted my 16.3hh perfectly.

I bought this product and a Horze santa hat (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B015VDZUZA/ref=oh_aui_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1) at the same time. At first blush, I thought the Horze hat was much higher quality product. It had thicker, softer material and overall was much larger. However, after actually trying to use the two hats, I definitely recommend this one. I think a whole lot more care went into the design of this hat.This hat is made of felt, which I think makes it look a little cheap. However, the felt has just enough stiffness that I think it holds its shape better than a softer material would. It also seemed a tad small, especially compared to the Horze hat, but it is actually shaped pretty well to fit on the horse's head, so it doesn't need to be as large. The Horze hat never really sat right, and the tail of the hat always looked rather doofy. This hat looked pretty good most of the time.The key feature to this hat is the fasteners. They are two wide velcro strips on the under side of the hat that fit securely to the halter. The halter I used even had an extra wide crownpiece and they reached across it just fine. They held the hat securely in place, even with my horse repeatedly shaking her head. (The fastener on the Horze hat was a complete joke - one small narrow bit of velcro on the outside (!?) of the hat. Completely useless, wouldn't even fit around the wide halter crownpiece.)

So cute! Stays on, too. It was a little large for a zebra, but I liked that it wasn’t too tight on her ears. It might fit a horse better, but still, it worked great and it didn’t hang in her eyes. Again, it’s so cute!

This item is great! It looks exactly like what was in the picture and worked well for pictures. We don’t plan on leaving it on forever so it was plenty durable for our purpose.

This exceeded my expectations. It is super cute and actually has straps for the halter. Neither horse we tried it in minded at all and we got some great pictures! A fun way to celebrate Christmas with your horse!

It’s an elf hat for horses. Fit great, stayed on, and looked adorable

Cute, but Pom poms easily come off. Sew on instead of glue would be better.
