Yes, it's pricey
But it is so worth it. The quality of this bag is top notch. No errant threads, no weak ass buckles that fall apart the moment you put weight in the bag.Yes, it's pricey, but a bag like this will last you a lifetime.

Great bag….mediocre zippers.
Overall it’s a good bag. My biggest complaint would be the cheap zippers. Nothing has happened yet but I am expecting them to break earlier than the should. The awesome quality of the bag is brought down by these mediocre zippers.

Finally a crossbody I'll actually wear
I got this rifle case as an update to my old Condor case. This one is wayyyy better. This case fits a standard carbine length rifle with no problem. You could compare it to a gig bag for a guitar or saxophone. It holds the rifle and everything you need to go out for an afternoon of plinking. There's a soft side of velcro compartment for your concealed carry.I do prefer to add a single large piece of closed cell foam to the main compartment to stiffen it up and add back cushion, but that's probably just the old guy in me finally wanting to be more comfortable. It doubles as a knee/elbow rest.I learned the hard way on an old case to not use it as your barrel rest... depending on your compensator you may end up with comical blunderbuss looking holes in your material. The material is super strong, slick in the right spots. But no fabric is going to hold up to that much force on repeat for long. This is a simple bag that has a million ways to wear/use it. Very easy. I could see a contractor using it for rapid deployment.

An excellent bag!
37" Length - 16.5" wide - 3.9" depthA wide padded sling which you can adjust from left or right side of bag on the bottom. Strap has the typical Hazard 4 "roto-lock" buckle in the middle and when unlocked there is a pocket in the top of the back which half the strap easily tucks away inside. The bottom of the strap can be removed entirely or be tied across to the opposite sling ring. There are D rings on the back if you have backpack straps allowing you to wear it like a backpack but they do not include backpack straps. There are also carrying handles on the top, bottom and side. The handle on the side is nicely padded for extended carrying while the top and bottom handles are just webbing handles. The main compartment zippers can be locked. It opens up 3/4, all but the bottom, giving you access to the entire inside. Hook and loop straps to hold down rifle inside, these straps can be adjusted to fit your specific rifle. Meaning, the straps themselves can be moved up and down. MOLLE webbing. Drainage hole on the bottom. There is a removable pad inside. It works as a barrier for rifles while inside and once removed, it works well as a pad to place your weapons down while at the range. The front has three pockets. The bottom of the three is the largest and works perfectly for all your little things like hearing pro, cleaning kit, spare magazines, etc. It has a zipper pocket, hook and loop pocket inside of it along with several other small pouch pockets that range in size. The back has a compartment that can be zipped open from either side. The middle pocket on front has a large hook and loop space on the exterior and on the interior as well. The top pocket is the smallest and is a good size for eye pro and the like.I've only had it a short time but as far as first impressions go, this thing is excellent. It's a great range bag or for general travel. I am very happy with it.

Priced accordingly for the quality
This bag is definitely one of the nicer ones I've used. The material is good and the construction is tight. This bag fits my tools of freedom without issue, and it is easy to carry them with the sling. I think this is priced pretty much in line with the other similar offerings for this category. The quality is definitely there.

Very functional and well thought out layout, improved build quality
I'm familiar with Hazard 4 and have had some issues with their sloppy build quality in the past, but this seems to be one of their newer designs and things are greatly improved. I like that it's a sling bag rather than a backpack and the very wide strap is extremely comfortable to wear, even when it's fully packed and fairly heavy. The main compartment is fairly basic but all of the MOLLE webbing make it easy to lash down a rifle in whatever configuration works best. On the exterior, the top pocket is a great place to stash boxes of ammo and a speed loader, the middle compartment can accept some hook & loop holsters or magazine carriers and there's a pretty full featured admin compartment on the bottom. The whole layout is very versatile and it works really well in actual use. Build quality is good, the materials look and feel nice, and unlike some other Hazard 4 bags I've worked with, it's not put together sloppily with loose threads everywhere and lazy shortcuts being taken. I came away really impressed with it; it makes for a great range bag, is comfortable to wear, looks sharp and is very functional overall.
