Fairly good for beginners, but not as good as Cafe in Berlin
In contrast to the previous book in this series "Genowrin," the author, André Klein makes it more accessible by bolstering the translations available at the end of each chapter though not as accessible as the Cafe in Berlin series. Though this book has less freedom than the previous book as it takes a more linear path, It has more difficult questions in the fighting portions that may require one to intuitively guess and thus making them think more about the German language or forcing them to look it up to read something, and even though the are less story progression options available, Each failed choice has their own indepth consequence and offers more opportunity to learn about the language which will make getting the diffculty resulting in a simple light-hearted "darn" rather than ending in frustration. The advances made in this book over the previous one gives it a higher rating for me, but having the accessibility increase and having the interactive story develop alternative story paths would make this series worth a five star rating. The story itself though not as compelling as the first one is a little more logical and give a little more insight to some culture themes not present in the first one, so it balances out, but is still a stones throw away from the insight provided in the Cafe in Berlin Series.

A fun way to learn more German
For an intermediate German language student it is a very entertaining way to learn, you follow the story and at the end of each section the book helps you with vocabulary and grammar, so you actually learn something new each section in a fun way

Cleverly didactic and amusing. Challenging, yet painless, for the early intermediate reader. Could have used a few maps. Looking forward to next sequel.
