Perhaps I see too much faux leather, but upon opening the cloth bag, I thought this beautiful case was too good to be real. Now in my 70's, I have been around long enough to see fine quality leather goods cheapen in every way possible. The more I looked at the thick leather everywhere on this bag I was convinced my first assumption was mistaken. However, the price left me confused. How could this beautifully made bag be less than $200? I own many fine crafted items from Florence, and not a one could be called inexpensive. 50 years ago, I spent a year studying there, and drooled over many fine crafted treasures. Unfortunately, my parents kept a tight leash on my spending. As luck was on my side in 1974, gold prices were $43.10 per ounce. Can you imagine that today? But I digress, like gold, leather was thick and high quality, unlike so many bags today. Just take all those insanely expensive hand bags women (just have to) have. Some of that leather reminds me of tissue paper. This incredible bag is 5 lbs. of full grain leather, at an incredible price. This bag is built to travel, with unimaginable versatility. I believe this bag will serve me well for the rest of my days. Constructed with very high quality hardware, what more would anyone expect from a $1000 dollar Florentine hand crafted bag, but at a price most everyone could purchase. I like the quality of the bag I haven’t got a chance to use it but I did put some clothes in it to see what I could get in the bag.I could get to days of clothes in it.I don't believe in over stuffing a bag.I think it will make a great weekender bag.What I don't like the bag only came with one key.I have to see if i can get another key made.I think its a great bag for the money I would recommend it to a friend

I've owned this bag for a while now and really put it to task with many types of trips. It fit in airline overhead bend perfectly. It's very roomy and easy to pack and unpack with it large medical bag opening. The locking system really works too!That vintage look get more attractive with time and it becomes visibly clear that it's been traveled.I love mine!!

My sister visited and my cat peed on her old suede duffle bag so I bought this one to replace it. She really does love it.

I am using this bag to carry my tools but look pretty classy at the same time. This bag is comfortable to open see everything I need to use and put it back without a fuss. I love it. Can't wait for it to get more use and get that really worn look.
