Hard pass- very uneven cuts.
Like others have described, the two packs I ordered were filled entirely of unevenly cut pieces of wood. Given that I used them to put my Christmas cards on display on a shelf, I was very disappointed to see the cards tilted on all sorts of different angles. It looked very messy and haphazard...not even and neat at all. If you don’t care about your items being displayed evenly, and are okay with them being crooked, then I guess this is fine for you...but if you’re like myself, and appreciate perfection and order in certain things, then these are a hard pass.

Skewed cuts make for slanted place cards
I was impressed by how poorly these were made. It's a cheap and easy build - take a 3" log, cut cross-sections into halves, and then cut a slot. A few hours of monotonous cutting, and you have 100s of place card holders to sell on Amazon at a premium. How they managed to screw that up, I really don't understand. Even with a rudimentary fence on a very basic saw, the slot should be parallel to the flat base. But somehow . . . the slots and the bases aren't parallel. I'm guessing they cut the slots before cutting the flats? Bad call for a product marketed for wedding presentation. The result is that the place cards to sit at very odd skew angles. I bought 20, each with seemingly random orientation of the slot. About 50% are straight enough to use for my application. If you really like the concept, buy double what you need and plan on spending a bit of time sorting out the duds.

Unique
Super cute place cards and place holders, they worked out perfectly for my daughters woodland themed baby shower to give directions for games and to label different things. They are rustic so they are all a little different in size and shape not super uniform which is exactly what we wanted.

Sturdy wood but some slots cut uneven
These wooden card holders are great! They were very cute and came as described. The only negative I found is some of the wood slot isn’t cut evenly, so the card didn’t sit flat when set into the slot. It tilted, which made the cards look silly. I just threw these ones out and used the good ones

Great as menu holders
Used them to hold menus for my event. They fit in well with the rest of the display. The slit is a bit large for regular card stock though. So it did lean a bit, but it worked well for what I needed then for. It comes with inserts as well, but I didn’t use them.

A little light-weight for a windy day!
These were exactly as pictured! Perfect if you are planning on using them indoors.Personally, I just wish they were slightly heavier as I was not able to use them outdoors on a windy day.

Arrived with mold
Several of these placecard holders had mold on them when the package arrived. So, we had to wash all of them prior to use. In some cases, the exterior bark was already detaching from the base, too... These holders are NOT durable.

Very Nice
This are very nice and cute little table labels! I am busying them for my wedding and Bridal shower on the tables with the Center pieces. So of them are a little green looking but they are real wood so it happens Also love the fact that the come with the Kraft cards as well!
