For a few bucks, this is a great assortment of crystal flash. I compared this flash to Hareline krystal flash, and found only minor differences.Breaking strength is identical. This was my main concern out of the box but I could not tell the difference between breaking a strand of this product or a name brand strand.Color varies. Some of the assortment colors are iridescent, shiny, and complex. Others are a bit flat. The black, blue, and white colors don't seem to have much shine to them. The yellow shades and most of the rest of the pack look very nice.Overall this is a great value and adds significant tying options for a low price.

I use this material tying flies and bucktail jigs. You get enough to last you a lifetime and an awesome variety of colors.

Based on the reviews of this material, I was expecting a larger quantity! As far as quality, ehhh…..not bad! Colors are, for the most part, usable! Two of the nine colors aren’t very useful to me. I wasn’t expecting to use them all! All in all, a fair price for the product.

I would have given the item a 5 star rating, but I had to pay for colors I don't want nor need. Wish I could select the colors I want and do away with the rest.
