I appreciate the fact that this series was done at a time when things weren't computer animated, people animated this show with their hands, the technique for animation for this show and others similar to it, from 1985 to 1992, were still largely done by hand and in a painstaking, to me thoughtful way. Shows like this are worth a watch, and may even teach you a few lessons along the way.
