Just the most fun game ever
Played at a friends house and immediately bought it for myself. Played the base game 2 player and as a group and its a different game everytime you play it (as long as you're fun and you change decks every game). I take it with me anytime I go to a friends house now because its incredibly easy to learn, fast paced, wildly fun, and theres no skill advantage to the game. Anyone can win regardless of experience so even the most casual players or people who never play card/board games have the same chance of winning as those with experience. Recently played a few games 1v1 with a friend who had never played and after 6 games we had each won 3 times. atm this is my favorite game to play with friends. Only problem I have is the fact that the base game comes with a container that has enough slots for the expansion decks but they still make you purchase those decks seperately. There should be a version availiable with all the decks in one purchase rather than buying the base game then 2 expansions packs. In one sense if you're on a budget this design allows you to break up your purchases and buy them later on when you have the money to afford the expansion packs rather than dropping all the money at once. On the other hand its pretty annoying for someone like me who didn't realize this until after I got home with the base game I had bought from a local comic shop and then realized i only had half the decks. Because my comic shop didnt have the expansions I then had to wait several days in order to obtain the full game.

Fast, Fun, and Easy to Learn – Dungeon Mayhem Delivers
Dungeon Mayhem is a fantastic card game that's incredibly easy to pick up and quick to play. The rules are straightforward, making it accessible for players of all ages, and each game lasts about 5 to 10 minutes, perfect for quick gaming sessions. Whether you're new to card games or a seasoned player looking for something fun and fast-paced, Dungeon Mayhem is a great choice.

Easy, Fun, and Expandable - One of my favorites
I love card games, from Rummy to MtG, and this is one of my favorites. The rules are very easy to learn and are well summarized on each player's handy reference card. Each character deck has a different strategic flavor to it, which makes choosing a character fun, but they all seem well-balanced. Players are going head to head (to head to head), it's directly competitive, so there are plenty of chances for smack talk and petty revenges, if that's your thing. It's fun as a two-player game, and better with more. The expansions add new gameplay elements, and I like them, but THIS IS THE BEST SET TO START WITH, as the others are either limited (the 2 character expansion) or geared to many more players (the Monster set). Overall, I can't recommend it enough. Fun, easy to learn, super portable, fast games... I've bought sets for other people as gifts and they've all loved it. Top choice.

Playtested with kids including custom Co-op mode
My 5 year old is the main person we have to consider for every game we introduce. His limited ability with letters makes many games unfeasible meanwhile it still needs to be interesting enough for the older kids too. We decided to give this one a try and it was a huge hit. Since nearly all cards just use symbols to indicate their effects he can understand and strategize without help from the rest of us. We've played nearly every day now for over a week and bought both expansions and it's quickly become their favorite game. ----------------------- We made our own co-op rule set which has worked wonderfully for 2-3 people and could easily scale for more or be changed in difficulty. The way we play it is easy enough that the kids always win. Just barely though and one out of three games the bad guy will take out 1 or more players. We choose one deck to be the opponent. That deck has no hand so no one has to make decisions for it. The opponents life is 10 times the # of players. Everyone plays as normal as a team against the opponent deck which takes the last turn. On the opponent decks turn a card is given from the opponent deck to each player face down. Before a player starts their turn they reveal the card from the enemy deck and resolve it. Damage, shield and healing are self explanatory, extra turn cards result in extra cards being dealt to that person from the enemy deck, and draw card or cards that effect the opponents nonexistent hand do nothing. (We've adjusted this now that they are no longer novices and it makes it much more challenging. Now the rule is: Every time the enemy would have drawn a 5th card they get an extra turn.) Simple and easy to adjust for difficulty. To make it easier we allow human players to use their healing cards on teammates. 2022: Still the most played game in our collection. The kids even play it by themselves sometimes. We've done the Co-op successfully with even 4 people and it scales well. To increase the difficulty now we added a rule where every 5th draw card token the enemy plays they get an extra turn.

Fun to play, easy to learn
I got this game originally to play with my kids. We play to play D&D but don't always get a chance. So this game kind of filling those gaps where we have 20 minutes to play something. First of all, it's easy to learn. No complex rules. It's easy enough for my 7-year-old to play. We have played about a dozen times and generally have a great time. I have also played one-on-one with my wife and we've enjoyed it. I've taken it to play at a friend's house for New Year's Eve. We all had a good time. Now I do have a few complaints. The first is the quality of the material used for the cards. After a few plays, the edges started to get dinged up a bit more than I thought they should. There isn't a lot of coating on them to protect them from damage. I wish I would have put the cards in some sleeves before letting the kids play. But life goes on. I think the wizard may be overpowered as he has a lot of abilities to totally kill everyone. Everyone does have a few cards that can make or break their game, but the wizard has "fireball" that damages EVERYONE and I've used it to completely wipe out people. Especially if I happen to have a few cards that let me play multiple ... play your strengths, I suppose. I wish, also, they would release more characters and/or more abilities on these original cards. Expand the playability. I can see the kids getting bored playing the same four characters over and over. BUT overall I'm happy with the purchase. Already had a lot of playtime with it and I can't complain. It's cheap enough so I feel I may have already gotten our money's worth. In the end, great buy, fun game. Just expect wear and tear right of the box as well as feeling you've already played the exact game after half-dozen hands. UPDATE So, after playing the game several times with my boys I realized I needed to create a dice system to keep them from ganging up on one person - primarily on the youngest. What I've had to do is on any attack rolls they roll a d4 that determines whom they hit. Otherwise, there are just angry kids who feel like the game was all about killing them.

Fantastic Group Game!
Bought the full set (base game + all expansions). I've tested this game with a wide range of group ages, from elementary all the way up to older gen (20+ yrs) and we've all had an absolute blast playing this game. The kids picked it up very quickly and were super excited to play against each other. I introduced it to my friend's groomsmen party and we spent a long time playing it and even convinced one of the groomsmen to also purchase the full set! Overall it is an easy game to teach and learn, the symbols on the cards make it super easy to understand what's going on, and the addition of the expansion packs allows for more strategy, more replayability, and allows for more than 4 players at a time to participate. Highly recommend this game if you hang out with a lot of kids/youth, but also folks that are interested in TTRPG's and board games should love this as well.

Fun and Easy to Learn
I bought this card game months ago, because it was based on D&D and only cost 10 bucks. I recently got engaged, and yesterday I saw the box sitting on my computer desk. I picked it up and went into the living room, telling my fiancee, "We're going to learn how to play this." She looked at the cover and said, "Okay..." My fiancee is a newcomer to D&D, but she has been a fan of fantasy for most of her life. At first, she thought it was going to be complicated, but once we got going we realized it was very easy. I love the references to D&D characters, spells, and abilities. The rules are very simple to learn, but once you get the hang of it you can start to develop strategies with the different decks. I played the barbarian against my fiancee, who had the wizard. I was beating her down and had her at 3 health, when I still had 8. She then pulled out the wizard card "Vampiric Touch" which swapped our health. Next turn she finished me off. In a later match, I played the rogue against her wizard, and I played 14 cards in one turn! It was madness! Obviously I had to get lucky on my draws, but it's those kind of moments, which are hilarious and painful at the same time that make me love Dungeon Mayhem so far. I have only played 2 players thus far, but we liked it so much we decided to order the Monster Madness set, which includes 6 new decks and a box to store them all. We look forward to taking this game to meet with friends in the future, once this pandemic is over. You could also play this from a distance with facetime or another group voicechat app. It's great fun, and at 10 bucks, it's very much worth trying the base game before you spend more on the expansions.

A solid DnD flavored 4-player card battle, Simple and Fun!
I got this recently to break up the monotony of learning to play a few other games like DnD 5e, Arkham Horror, etc. Dungeon Mayhem is a great game, easy to pick up and play, and accessable to all ages. Use one card and a character token to track your health as it slides from 10-0, and another card acts as your legend, letting you know what the symbols on your deck's card mean. Then you just draw cards, and play! Attack, heal, place shields, it's very straight forward and relaxing simplistic. This game is going to have an expansion soon which will add 2 more characters, a female Druid, and a Male Ranger with a pet hampster. I'm excited to pick it up and flesh out the game with a little more variety. I'm even considering coming up with some alternative rules that let you level up after winning a game, perhaps adding more hit points, or otherwise making games last longer as they're played back to back

Good product
The game is great and all, however take note that this is actually a high copy and not an original print version. Still well made.

C’est simple, plein de rebondissements, drôle. De loin, mon jeu préféré en ce moment.

Great game for quick fun
Despite the D&D branding, this is nothing like Dungeons & Dragons; this is a turn based card game, where each deck represents a character, that uses luck of the draw rather than a roll of the dice. Gameplay is straightforward (as well as a rulesheet each deck has a reference card explaining what every symbol represents); you have one card with a counter that represents your HP, and every card you play lets you attack another player, put up some shields, heal yourself, or play or draw more cards (plus other effects). The goal is just to knock other players' HP to zero and be the last one standing. I've played this with my kids, in 2 player games and 4 player games, and it's easy enough that even the 5 year old can join in. 4 player games can last a good 20 minutes, but in a 2 player match it can be over very quickly (best of 3?). Whether or not you like the art work is a matter of taste, but I think it's wonderful. The drawings are sketchy but full of energy and character, with well chosen colour palettes. Though the gameplay is not like a tabletop RPG, the characters are based on those archetypes (rogue, paladin, etc) and the attacks are usually drawn from that world too (fireball, call lighting, stolen potion, and so on). If you like card games or board games, and are looking for something quick and fun that won't take up much space, you can't go wrong with this. The only criticism I can give, is although the cards have a similar quality and texture to Pokémon cards and the like, the edges seem to want to wear away very quickly. So handle with care!
