Rivals the Vitamix, at one-fifth the cost
This is a GREAT blender that rivals my much more expensive Vitamix. I’ve taken a break from my Vitamix 5200, which retails for 5 times the cost of this blender, to test this one out for a week. I love it! It gives my Vitamix a run for the money. Here are some observations:For chopping, this blender is impressive. It looks so much like a food processor that I tried chopping an onion, and got acceptable results. I would absolutely use this for that. (The Vitamix can’t do this at all.)For ice crushing, YES! Yes, yes, yes. Snow in blazingly fast time. Sno-cones, margaritas, whatever, this blender has that application covered. Fantastic results, far better than the Vitamix. For pulverizing, I thought it was very good. This was the area that the Vitamix outshone the Ninja, but I think the Ninja did just fine. In my homemade jalapeño-coleslaw dressing, the blender didn’t quite get all the jalapeño pulverized, and there were little chunks still in the dressing. The Ninja had a little trouble pulverizing 2 large bunches of kale, and I had to stop the blender a few times to use a scraper to push the leaves down. I also needed to add some water to aid in the blending. The leaves ended up rather smoothly pulverized, although I don’t think they were quite as fine as in the Vitamix.I love how the blades remove completely from the pitcher every single time; it not only makes it easier to scrape out all the food from the blender but also to get it perfectly clean. The Vitamix always ends up with food stuck under the blades, and if it’s something like hummus, it’s really hard to get it clean. So the design on the blades in the Ninja is brilliant. Be careful, though: those blades are sharp. I managed to to slice my hands open on two separate occasions while trying to put them in or take them out of the dishwasher.Seriously, having tried this blender, I can’t see recommending that anyone spend the extra money for a Vitamix. This is a really nice blender.

Turn Me OFF please...
Would have given 5 stars but ... Its a great looking and operational unit but it does not have an "OFF" button so you have to constantly unplug the whole unit when your not using it. HUGE PAIN IN THE REAR! and no it doesn't turn itself off ether after a set time out period. The owners manual was interpreted from Asian perspective, which doesn't kill the manual, but makes it awkward to understand. I was impressed with the size and quality of the unit itself though.

Great Blender!
I had to replace our Hamilton Beach (glass) blender that I have had for over 5 years. I really wanted a glass blender for cleanliness. I searched the internet saw this Homegeek blender. It was a little expensive but there was a $10 coupon so I tried it. I have to say this blender is much bigger than I thought. I don't leave it on the counter, when I'm done I wash out and put in the pantry. It is 1450 watts which provides more power to help blend my frozen fruit. My (HB) would take longer to blend and I always had to add extra liquid. I just received this blender last week and have only used the smoothie option and so far it's great. The company is new and has excellent customer service and provides an extra 3-month warranty on the product. With that being said you can't go wrong with the purchase.

Homgeek blender. Worst amazon purchase. Huge POS
The blender doesn't work. This blender is horrible! Imagine you buy a $129 blender only to have it turn on for one second and shut off. Its POS. I went out and spend $140 on all natural organic fruits, veggies, spices, herbs , organic turmeric, bentonite clay, ginger powder to put in the blender and the thing won't stay on. The homgeek blender was my worst amazon purchase of 2018 Update . When I had taken all the fruit and veggies out I had dumped in the blender , I filled it up with water to rinse it out and dumped it. The following day I noticed so much rust around the blade. Why is this brand new blender rusting . Why are the blades rusty at all? This isn't safe, it's very toxic. Im glad amazon gives you a month to return things. I had a blender before that was cheaper and the puppy worked like a charm. I tried being fancy and getting a top of the line blender and not only does it not work, it's rusting after one wash and the pour spout is very flat,it barely comes to a tip so if you're pouring your smoothies into a cup , stuff will go all over the sides and all over the place. It's really an overpriced poorly constructed heavy piece of junk that is only selling because of its aesthetics.

Not a reliable blender
Used this blender since mid-July 2019. It worked intermittently, but would shut off and motor seemed to lose power and emit a strange odor. Did not overload, used according to instructions. Would use 2 times per week average for about 3 min total time. Had a mix of frozen and room temp fruit & veggies as well as powder and a few ice cubes or frozen yogurt so nothing out of the ordinary. The first time it stopped working and overheated just after the 30 day return window closed, the seller said they would not help. I have contacted them again, 14 months after purchase and asked for a partial or full refund. This is not right. I had a Nutri ninja before this and you couldn't kill that thing if you tried. I got this one thinking I could make more than 1 smoothie at a time and it would be just as reliable. I was wrong.

►More smoothies for my healthy lifestyle
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Life changed since I stay at home and work quite a lot, started to feel slow and eat comfort food so I said........enough!!I was looking for something to make smoothies(i dont like juicing) and got this blender which does a great job.It is a 2000w power blender which is quite powerful. What can you do with it?I make mostly smoothies but it has programs to crash ice, to grind nuts, veggies or whatever you want and when its something inside that it is hard you can just press the blitz button and you have control of the operation.I use blitz when I have frozen bananas inside.Speed?Has 8 speeds if you need to use these, I mostly go for the automatic program, add everyting inside and press the button.Blades?Has 8 blades, sharp, I wouldnt recommend to put out hand inside and wash these. Is it stable?I have made a massive 2 l smoothie with plenty of frozen fruits and the blender barely moved, has this rubber legs(base) which keep it stable. You also get a stick to mix inside if needed(I have never use though). Is it loud?In my kitchen a bit, but this depends on what you make it and how big is your kitchen or where you keep it.Because my kitchen is open space the blender makes some noise which is normal for this type of product. The pitcher.2 L size which is BPA free and you can put it in the dishwasher.Another way to clean it, just add some water and press start on speed 2 for 10 sec and done(this is for smoothies).Once plugged is on, just have to place the jug(picther) on the unit and its good to go.Overall experience?Powerful blender that does what it has to.Great! If you found this helpful I would kindly ask to press the helpful button below.Thank you

Great quality and simple to use
Lockdown has caused bad habits of eating quickly and the wrong types of foods, so as a new years resolution we've decided to cook better quality home meals and subsidise our dinners with shakes. We wanted a good size, good quality blender so that we could create sauces, dips and low fat dressings, blitz up ice so that we can make milkshakes and protein shakes and also have a big enough to make large soup for a family of four in one go.Searching for a 2l machine we found this offering from Homgeek which is stylish in appearance and ticked all of the boxes we needed it to.So far we've not been disappointed, it's super powerful and blasts its way through everything we thrown at it. It has a couple of handy pre programme features on the front which is what sets it out, meaning we can quickly push the smoothie speed, or for example pulse when we are making sources. This makes it super easy to use quickly. The lid and attachments seal round the top well giving confidence that you are not going to splatter your kitchen with what you are blending. really pleased with a quality product that is used daily and will be used for years to come.

very good smoothie/milkshake maker
I bought this smoothie maker as me and the wife have decided we need to go on a bit of a health kick after lockdown diet then Christmas. This is a nice looking powerful blender with good control options for various types of blending and pulsing.Set up was simple and I washed everything before first use.Firstly I much a nice fruit smoothie with some fresh fruit, frozen fruit, veg and ice. I have to say that it absolutely crushed this smoothie, it was amazing.Secondly we decided to make the kids their favourite milkshake. We used vanilla ice cream, milk and their favourite chocolate bars, mint aero for my son and galaxy caramel for my daughter. They absolutely loved them and said that its better than the shop does them.So this absolutely cracking smoothie/blender machine gets 5 stars from all four of us.

Fabulous value 😃
Utterly surprised by this. I have used a Vitamix a few times and had a Kitchenaid blender. This blender is far superior to the Kitchenaid blender. I made a coconut chocolate milk with 90% dark chocolate. Utterly delicious. Second thing I made was mixed nut butter. I no longer need to take my bags of nuts to my friend’s Vitamix. Smoothies and soups are my thing so I will put it to test.Jug is super large but lighter than a Vitamix jug. A little confusing to use at first but once I realised the buttons and lights are just the next setting it was straight forward.I added a drop of washing up liquid into half a jug of warm water and blended it for 15 secondes. It was super foamy but instantly cleaned.

Great blender at a great price
I was a little bit sceptical about how well this blender would work for grinding nuts and seeds as I've been using the Nutribullet for a few years and it does a great job. The nutribullet blades are closer to the foods being blended which makes it fast and easy but, as the gasket should not be removed for cleaning purposes, I had real concerns about residual particles of food under the rubber ring so I would remove it for cleaning. This somehow led to black liquid oozing out from under the blade base so I had to frequently replace the base. The Homgeek blender amazed me by its performance and ease of cleaning. I was able to grind nuts, oats and seeds in no time at all and they were done as finely as I wanted them. I would highly recommend this blender to anyone looking for a fast and easy to clean machine.
