Super stable, size 9 in women’s shoes, medium fits great
I received this walking boot from my orthopedist after severely rolling my ankle. 3 ankle fractures, grade 3 and 2 ligament sprains all over and a torn tendon. It completely stabilized my ankle, was easy to walk in, air can be pumped in or let out to your likeness, and was super easy to take on and off for frequent icing. Best part is that the Velcro padding can be removed and washed when it gets stinky. I’m a size 9 in women’s and a medium fit perfectly.

Very poor quality
My mom broker her ankle and was given a real one of these. It worked great and we needed an extra one. So we looked on Amazon and found this product. It is nothing like the one the Dr gave her. It looks almost the same, but it doesn’t fit very well. I wish I had returned this, but due to other issues. I never had gotten a chance.I can only warn others not to waste their money. She said it doesn’t fit well and hurts her foot. Look somewhere else to buy.

Very comfortable
I am currently in this boot for a tendon rupture that isn’t healing. It’s much more comfortable than the Aircast boot I’ve had before. Much more padding as well.

Poor Design, Shoddy Construction
I’ve been wearing this boot while awaiting Achilles surgery. I’m on my second boot in three months. The first one lasted a few weeks until the pump for the air bladders failed. After another month, the buckle on the upper strap broke so I took it back and got a replacement. The second one is hanging in there so far, but the pump for the air bladders has already failed. FWIW, the amount charged by the orthopedic practice to my insurance carrier for this boot is about 3.5 times what Amazon sells it for. And it’s not worth Amazon!s price. I’ll probably have the orthopedic practice get me another replacement for the month or so that I’ll need to wear it post-surgery. Hopefully it’ll last that long. What a piece of junk.

painful
The top of the plastic insert digs into the front of my tibia when walking. If I remove it to relieve the pain, the metal oval which the velcro strap passes through digs into my tibia as well. I have a folded washcloth inserted between that fastening clip and my tibia.

Heavy and hateful to put on
I have the 4 strap taller version of this boot. The air bladder in it is useless. Will not pump up or hold air. The straps are not designed very well and get in the way when trying to put on. The loop or buckles should be mounted below the left edge of boot. Instead they are above the edge and flop over into the boot when putting on and they get tucked under the liner and you have to pull them out. This thing is hateful and i cuss it every day that i have to wear it. It is also super heavy. I don't know if the aircast brand is any better but i may find out. It does provide protection and lets you cheat to keep your balance but that is about all it is good for. Mine was provided thru an orthopedic surgeons office. The ortho group that actually did my surgery uses aircast brand.

Very uncomfortable
My orthopedic surgeon gave me this to recover after major surgery on my fibula. Very hard to put on. Poor design, the plastic and rivet for the strap is in the inside so it digs so hard into my ankle and leg that it literally made me cry!! I hate it. I feel that it did more damage than good especially to my incision,
