Striking design, must have for collectors
The Hy-Gogg. This fellow radiates one of the most interesting designs in the history of Gundam. Something like a light blue armored crustacean mixed with an octopus. It's intimidating (especially if you've watched the Cyclops Team in action) and exciting to have in your MS family.Let me start by saying this almost warranted 4 stars, the Hy-Gogg does have its share of issues, small as they are. However, I kept in mind, as should you, this is one of the oldest HGUC kits, having been produced around 2003. Considering the 11 year timespan it's still damn impressive. If you're squeamish for negatives, as am I, I'll list them here. AND TAKE NOTE! This is specific to my kit. I can't speak for all Hy-Gogg kits you grab, I may have gotten unlucky. So first off, this sucker is top heavy. Those wide shoulders and central core really do weigh more than some MS kits. This wouldn't be a bad thing, it's nice to pick up your model and not have the sensation it's cheap plastic, but here's the main issue, the legs. The center knee joints are... lacking. In my particular case, they do not hold the upper body too well, you have to position things in a way so your Hy-Gogg doesn't start leaning backwards or forwards. The feet as well do not anchor or support, the "toes" of the Hy-Gogg are essentially flaps. It's only a circle of plastic that acts as the foot. Basically, no fancy leg work here, you're going to want to take caution if you have this problem.Fortunately, balance isn't hard to achieve thanks to those beautiful tentacle arms, you just need to orient cautiously. It's all pose here, not play.Weight is an issue in some areas too. You may find that, a leg or arm held in a way will not hold itself up too well. This is super nitpicky on my end, and quite easy to avoid, but just be aware of it.My best suggestion is to employ techniques to strengthen up the legs, if at all possible. Now the positives. Aside from looking incredibly awesome, those arms do what you think they can. Lots of original positions can be used that you won't pull off with other suits. It has some very cool accessories, orange capsules that give the illusion its arm is being held in. There are a good number of stickers, but with a hobby knife and patience they stick easily enough. If you're near a body of water, this is the kind of suit you want around. All in all, the flaws I mentioned can be overcome and overlooked considering the kit's age. Enjoy it if you grab it.

Great for skill building
Put together a few gundam models now. This model was surprisingly easy to build. With the low cost, and easy to sand pieces it is a great unit to learn how to hone your skills for getting rid of imperfections. It is also a fun unique design from the Zeon army to break up the monotony of a lot of the mobile suits.

My favorite Zeon Forces Mobile Suit, GO CYCLOPS TEAM!!
Item came early and looks absolutely great. The arms have an unexpected range of motion and the "toes" give absolutely no support while standing. The legs are basically useless, as in they don't really move that much. He will stand fairly stable so long as you don't lean him forward or back too much. All the action of this model takes place in the torso and arms. This model is a blast to build and honestly one of the most fun kits I've built. The color of the plastic is great although the plastic is strange. Whilst cutting off leftover nub with my hobby knife, I ended up cutting into the plastic a little bit. I love the design and personally this kit is going into a diorama later on. To make this look absolutely amazing you will need to remove some seamlines and do some panel lining as well, but it still looks great without removing the seamlines as they weren't too bad on my kit.

Great for the price, but needs a little love to really shine
A wonderful kit. Great self presence, fun and unique build. But not without flaws. It needs some TLC, a little panel lining will go a long way and the orange thruster on the back is downright awful.

Overall good kit
I'm relatively new to building gunpla, so take my review with a grain of salt I suppose. Overall I really like this kit, however I do have some issues with it, the arm joint and hip joints aren't incredibly sturdy and tend to slip. Making holding poses difficult, so super glue will likely be needed to add extra stability to the kit.

A unique design and beginners entry to customize Gundam model kits
I bought this because I thought this was a unique design from Gundam with the multiple articulating arms. I also read that this was an easy kit to modify to add an LED light to have the mono-eye glow. This was my 1st kit I thought I can try to begin to do some light customization and it delivered. A simple kit for beginners to try to remove seam lines, paint, and add an LED. Also to my opinion a cute/cool looking model.

might not have an easy time fitting joints together
Very simple build, anyone building gunpla for the first time or any other time will have no problem. Just make sure you trim your nubs, might not have an easy time fitting joints together.Pretty cheap and looks great once panel lined

Fiddly, but well worth it
The Hygog is one of those Gunpla that has a fair few accessories, and, to boot, its arms are quite the struggle to build, but, honestly, it was one of the more entertaining ones to build, and very posable indeed, be it in a threatening pose, or, as I've done, a somewhat comedic one. It is also, like the Hyakuri, one of those ones where the accessories can require changing the figure somewhat, so... Be aware if you're in the habit of changing configurations for funsies, this one's a little fiddly.

Buon lavoro !!!
Classico Bandai Model Kit.

If you like it, get it
I love this HG. It's big, bulky, and unique. This kit isn't without its flaws (weak hips and a couple loose parts), but if you like the design, this kit is a must-have. This is, in my opinion, the best HG kit to get if you want to get into modifications and painting.

Tres jolie
Jolie gunpla, facile a monter (attention au "doigt" de la maquette tout de même). Pour le prix, ci vous êtes fan de gundam ou de mecha en général foncé.
