I bought this mount so I could have the Echo Dot in the kitchen but not on the worktop, which it does very well.The only issue I had was that I did not want it hanging downwards. But I was able to modify it with the addition of making a small slot in the plastic moulding. See pictures. It worked well and still looks neat and tidy, and doesn't get in the way of stuff on the worktop. It seems a little expensive for a couple of plastic mouldings, especially when compared to the price of the Echo Dot itself, but does the job well.

Great product, would be better if it came with a slit for cable on all sides to change how it stands. As mentioned by someone else to make it stand upright you just need to make a little slit in the plastic housing, see pictures. This product is great and keeps my echo fit out the way and off the side where it could get damaged.

I really like my Alexa Dot, but I'm annoyed that a portion of the kitchen side is taken up by the unit and the following cable. Enter the wall mount stand and I've got some small kitchen space back, and all for just a tenner.Easy to set-up, doesn't get in the way of other plug sockets and I've noticed a drop in quality for music or Alexa hearing or speaking. There's lots of variants that seem to be identical, so pick whichever is cheapest.** Pros **- Does its job very well- Good value- Easy to set-up- Doesn't get in the way of other plugs- Doesn't affect music or Alexa functioning** Cons **- Device specific, so won't transfer to new versions of the Alexa DotOverall, a good accessory that keeps kitchen / desk sides clear.

Although I’m a member of the Vine programme. This was a personal purchase.Useful though the Echo Dot is, the power supply is quite large and the cable is rather long. Not usually a problem, but there are some places it either takes up too much space, or look out of place.This holder fits snugly around the power supply and keeps it out of sight. The Dot fits nicely in the holder and the cable winds up behind it, out of sight. There are no screws and no drilling is required.This holder is for third generation Dots, other models are available of earlier versions.The Dot’s functionality is not affected.This neat Dot holder exceeded my expectations.

Asking for a review after only a couple of days always means that it is based on first impressions, not the real experience but here goes/ The mount is quite well made & comes with reasonably good instructions making installation easy. Obviously once assembled it with your Echo Dot 3 it just plugs in saving valuable counter space (I wanted mine for the kitchen). The sound of the Dot is not impeded in any way, The makers claim that a wall mounted position improves the sound & it might actually be a bit clearer being directed into the room.I only have one bugbear which is common to many products designed for plug sockets which is that my sockets, in common with many, stand proud of the wall meaning that a button press on the lower buttons pushes against nothing & the dot is liable to tip in the process partially pulling it out of the socket. SOme sort of optional spacer would complete the product (I have a multi socket adapter which has this simple but brilliant feature, though to be fair most do not).In short early days but looking good & only one minor niggle.

It does what it says it will do, which is keep the Echo Dot in a neat and unobtrusive location, plugged tidily into a wall socket with no trailing wires. Expensive though for what is after all just a simple piece of extruded plastic. Also, there is a backing plate which you are supposed to pop out in order to fit the Echo Dot, then replace to lock it in. I couldn't pop it out without exerting more pressure than I felt it could stand without breaking. Never did get it out. However, with a bit of fiddling and intricate finger work, it is possible to fit the Dot successfully without popping out the backing plate. Hence only 3 stars for sturdiness and ease of installation. Finally, the sound quality isn't good, which may be something to do with the fact that the speakers are partially blanked by the grip-clamps.

Nice compact bracket case plug for my echo dot 3rd gen. The design is nice, fit's perfectly, it has built in cable management and I can hear everything clearly. It does stick out a little from an angle however this doesn't bother me. I like the fact that I still have access to my second power outlet.
