I expected a book of original Gatling gun drawings not just the prints of the minor modifications and their written patents. Very disappointing.

This book shows intricate drawings of the breakdown in designs of the different models of guns that were made. Wonderful book!

Fascinating - the actual patent drawings by Gatling himself. The basic priciple of the Gatling gun is obvious, but the details - and the clever solutions he came up with are ingenious. You get a certain insight into the person as well.
