Fullmetal Alchemist Pocket Watch with Chain Box for Cosplay Accessories Anime Merch

I've been wanting one of these watches since 2012. I've looked at a ton of them online in the last 6 years but I finally gave in and got this one. All of the mixed reviews for various watches always made me very wary of buying. I just got this today and for now it's pretty good! It's comes boxed and wrapped in gray sponge. It comes with a long thick chain that can attach to a belt loop or jeans, like the one in the anime, and a thin necklace chain (which I doubt I'll be using, but I'll save it for the future). The watch time is easy to set, just remove the tiny white plastic tab under the knob, turn the knob until the watch hands go to the correct time, and press the knob/button down to make the clock nice. The "Don't forget 3. Oct. 11" is not engraved into the watch lid, but printed on top. "Fullmetal Alchemist" is embossed in the back. I don't want to worry about opening the watch though. In the show, it doesn't even get opened much. It's actually alchemized shut until Winry pried it open. I don't think the actual watch had an alchemic circle on the clock face but every version of the watch has it anyway. No watch will actually be as big as the one in the anime. TL;DR: This is a good watch for a good price. I'll keep you all updated if things change.

It’s not going to look EXACTLY like the watch from the animes, there’s very subtle differences, but in my opinion it looks better, as if it was a real worl adaptation. On the inside it’s not technically engraved, but the watch still looks good and it works pretty good. The time stays accurate, I haven’t had to readjust it once, though I’d recommend not bumping around and dropping it, pocket watches are easy to break if you’re not careful. You never know how fragile the internal mechanism could be so treat it with care. Overall, I’d say it was very much worth the money.

The watch functions as expected for me, and the design looks great. If you're looking to cosplay, this is worth the buy. If you are looking for a fully authentic watch, there are a few inaccuracies. The "Don't forget" message is obviously not etched in, but it is technically facing the wrong way. Another thing is the crest on the face of the watch. Not only is that not accurate to the manga/anime, you have to squint a little bit every time you glance at the time, as it can often hide the clock hands. However these complaints are only minor, I believe you get more than the price is worth.

So, the box it arrived in is not the box pictured, which is why I took off a star. In the photos the box is larger, with a specified area for both the watch and the chain. This box is different, smaller, and doesn't display the chain. Big disappointment as I was planning to use the box to display the watch. Otherwise, it's as expected. Quality is passable, it looks as expected / described. For $20 you aren't getting a phenomenal fully functional pocket watch, but that's fine. This a cosplay accessory / a display novelty, and it's fine for that. I'm a huge FMA fan, so while I'm quite disappointed in the packaging, I'm still overall happy with the purchase. Also worth noting, the box arrived open, with the watch and chain just smacking around the shipping box. Not a huge deal, but worth mentioning. Shipped quickly.

The person I bought this for loved it so much!! Details were exactly like in the anime. Very pretty!

Bought for my 7 year old daughter who's almost as huge a fan of FMA Brotherhood as I, maybe more lol. She was over the moon with it. It seems like a surprisingly decent quality piece considering the ultra low price. May not be an exact replica from the series/Manga but she is happy nonetheless, and loves that it's a functioning watch so she can actually tell the time with it. For those complaining the 4 should be IV and not IIII as it is on this watch, just an FYI that Arakawa actually drew it using the IIII so that part is actually true to the original lol. Not to mention that on clocks, IV and IIII have been interchangeable for centuries.

I bought this as a gift for someone. I opened it to look at it and the details where amazing on it. I loved the packaging nothing got damaged. I enjoy it came with multiple chains so even if it falls out of you pocket it will stay safe. I'm concerning getting another I love pocket watches and this one definitely worth getting.

Wie viel kostet gut aber relativ klein. Und die Uhr hat leider nur ein billiges Uhrwerk was dazu führt das langzeitig immer wieder die Uhrzeit nachgestellt werden muss ansonsten gut.
