After researching all the different brands I decided to go with this one for such a low price and i was not dissapointed! I installed this On a 2011 Suzuki GSXR750. Schematics on this product are fairly simple for the experienced Electrician. The only hard part is making it work for your bike. I had to add several Relays to make this product work correctly with my set up to be able to bypass the clutch switch but not bypass the gear indicator to prefent it from trying to start in gear. The alarm, remote start and shutdown work perfect. When i first recieved this product it came with a defective sensor and a used defective 2nd remote. I emailed the seller about this and they were quick to respond. They sent a replacement right away! great customer service!!!! Already recommended this product to all my friends that ride. Will definitely be purchacing another! Review: a lot of alarm for the price - but not for noobs - I don't quite understand the bad reviews - if I paid a shop to install a car alarm with this many features it would probably cost over $500. I've been using it for six months and love it. For sure, if you are going to install this yourself, you better know how to use a voltmeter and have some experience with this kind of stuff - I was once a car audio installer and this is also the 3rd alarm that I've installed in my lifetime. For me, by far the hardest part of installing this alarm is finding out which wires and where they are in my bike's harness. Yes, not having a plug and play harness makes it harder, as well as the instructions being a bit vague. However, if you have some experience with this stuff you'll figure it out. I did have one transmitter's screen go about half-blank, but otherwise it has been very reliable. With some time and effort, I have optimized the microwave sensor settings and have settled on four of five for the vibration sensor. I mounted the siren under my seat near the tail light, facing up and it's VERY loud. I mounted the antennae on the underside of the top of bodywork behind the seat and the range is tremendous. It sometimes reaches through many walls at work in a large govt. complex to a parking lot that's quite far away. The range is much better than the range of my brand name two-way car alarm. I LOVE the anti-hijack feature. If you get jacked and are smart enough to keep the transmitter on you, you can hit a button as they ride off and either shut it off immediately or after 20 seconds. I'd give it five stars except for the transmitter going out and the relatively poor installation instructions. But again, this is a LOT of alarm for the money and I'd absolutely by it again.

Great alarm
The alarm is great, it was a little difficult to install the instructions are useless. I would recommend professional install and the siren is a little big so make sure you have room for it somewhere. The distance of the pager is ok its not as far as I would hoped probably about 100ft through walls maybe more in open air.

Awesome alarm.
Initially I had a problem with the product alarming at random. I replaced it with the Gorilla 8017 and had the same problem, so it must be something with my bike. I thought the Spy was great, however. The alarm extremely loud, the tilt and shock sensor worked really well, and the proximity was good if placed strategically. To hook up JUST the alarm functions was cake walk. Connect the red wire to the positive terminal on your battery, and the black wire to the negative. I didn't hook up the rest because I couldn't locate the wires I needed easily, and didn't have the alarm long before replacing it due to the false alarms. However, if you know anything about electricity and electronics it shouldn't be difficult at all. The directions don't hold your hand by any means, but I thought they were clear anyway.. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO WAY TO CONTACT THE MANUFACTURER!! This is my ONLY gripe about this product, and the only reason it lost 1 star. Anyhow, I definitely recommend this product.

Beeps 3 times after turning ignition off (Everytime)
Great alarm works flawless the install was not bad at all.... I am not a professional alarm installer just a at home do it yourself type.. install went smooth and everything works as it should... only issue is the alarm beeps very loudly 3 times every time the ignition is turned off as a reminder to arm the alarm... there is no way to bypass this and it get VERY ANNOYING !!!! but as long as you can look past that everything else is GREAT !!

Good luck installing it - you will need it.
Extremely poor documentation for installing. Took me 6 hours of web searches and reverse engineering, plus trial and error testing to figure out how to interface it to my vehicle. Seems to function OK when finally connected correctly. Range is yet to be tested. Only buy this product if you are a good Electrical Engineer AND have alarm install experience. No support is available from any source if you get in trouble. To their credit, Amazon and the seller gave me a partial refund due to this experience.

Good system.
I had this system installed on my BMW. The system was easy to install. It has good sensitivity. Sensitivity in the tilt sensor changes with temperature. In cold weather it is much more sensitive to small vibrations. Also, just FYI. Use your own batteries. The once which came with the set were bad and it took us about 30 minutes to figure out.

Surprisingly good motorcycle alarm
Surprisingly good motorcycle alarm. I've had it installed for a few weeks now to make sure it didn't have issues - having previously installed a terrible Gorrilla alarm that would false alarm set off even when it wasn't armed and was skeptical of this unrecognized name alarm, but have been pleasantly surprised. Both the vibration and microwave motion sensors work well, and have yet to false alarm even once; yet have reliably gone off when I did actions that should trigger them. My only complaint so far (and thus the four stars instead of five stars) are the buttons on the remote - they are too easily pressed while in one's pocket; such that bending over while wearing jeans can cause pressure on any of the buttons on the side of the remote, which will cause the alarm to go off. I'm currently contemplating ways I can put a guard somehow around the side buttons to prevent this from happening. Completely agree that the instructions are crap, and the wiring schematic is actually quite vague - leaving a couple of ways to interpret the wiring colors - despite doing automobile and motorcycle electronics installations for thirty years, I was not 100% sure of what function went to each wiring color that they were trying to indicate in the schematic, yet was still able to make my best guess and get it installed in like 30 minutes without a problem (after testing it with a 12-volt power supply on a bench).
