Excellent!!! Fantastic!!!It was painful while using bicycle which is designed for forward bending posture. Now it is raised to +7cm (3") up and now easy driving posture for Hero Lectro Glide.Well crafted and good looks after modification. I requested same with my dealer but simply refused!!!

It was a great relief to raise the handle bar by 3 inches. No longer need to bend and stress the arms and wrists. The handle bar has 2 side bolts and one top bolt. The top bolt maybe not obvious to spot and also needs to be unscrewed to remove the handlebar. The stem elongator is also supplied with a longer top bolt ( looks more like a thin threaded shaft) and you need to replace the original top bolt with this one (obviously as you would now need a longer top bolt). So remove the handlebar and put in the stem elongator and fix it with the side bolts. Now fix the handle bar on the stem and adjust for straight position and tighten the side bolts. Now put in the new top bolt / shaft into the handlebar top and carefully tighten it. Your rear brake cable may get a little stretched once you raise the handlebar. I just loosened the brake handle and moved it a little towards the center of the handlebar thus giving the brake cable some more slack. Need to check if I can get a longer brake cable but I am good for now. Great product and fits my Decathlon Riverside 500 cycle perfectly. Strange part is that Decathlon could not supply this part and I had to get a generic one but it worked out well.

I wanted to extend my bicycle handle to gain height and this was a very good product that I came across. Fit perfectly well and is of excellent quality. Fit is and no one will come to know that you have increased the height of the handle. Perfect match and of great looks and quality. Highly recommended if you want to extend the height of the handle.

I m a tall man and I am using 29inch Cosmic cycle.. Though the cycle is a good one I was missing something... I need to bend down to hold the handle bar.... After long ride I was experiencing neck pain... Now I got this stem extender which fulfilled my need perfectly. Now I drive happily with my spine straight ..Thanks for Amazon

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I wonder why every cycle store doesn't keep it and offer it as an option to customers when they purchase a new bike.After installation the ride is so comfortable that I recommend it to everyone unless they are into some competitive biking.The product is lightweight but strong and easy to install.Did it in maybe ten minutes Max.

The long screw inside the extender is of low quality. While trying to adjust the bolt correctly, a few times, to make the frame sit correctly on the bearings, the screw lost its Allen screw threads. Very cheap quality screw compared to the original one I removed from the hero lectro cycle. Not expected cheap screw in a rs 700+ stem extender.

Surprised at the quality as well as fit and finish. This extender fit precisely on the fork. this fork extender was a precise fit for the stem. I removed one ring and lowered the stem to let the stem sit a little lower as the front brake hydraulic line was short. Fit the long screw first followed by tightening up the bolts fixing the extender to the fork. The fork feels as rigid as it was before, I don't detect any play. Most modern MTBs these days have a low and wide handlebar optimized for down hill courses, my riding is mostly road and gravel where I am putting in quite a bit of pedaling effort. This raised handlebar now let's me relax a bit, am able to get off the seat and attack slopes easier than before. The earlier skittishness is also reduced to the point where it feels very neutral now. Excellent value and does the job. This extender increases the handlebar height by about 3 inches, but I feel it has transformed the ergos on my bike.

Was facing cramps and sore elbow, shoulders after long rides, due to aggressive riding position of my bike. But after installing this , my riding is more upright and reduced body pain. However it's come at a price. Reduced agility, cornering and drop in speed and more drag BECOZ of the changed aerodynamics.But still loved the change despite the trade offs
