Decent battery
Update: I am adding an update and now giving it a full 5 stars (up from 3). I had originally been concerned about having to charge them so often. I wasn't sure if it was the batteries or what I was using them in, since I got them for motion sensitive lights. Customer service contacted me right away wanting to make sure I was happy with the product and see if they could help with my issue. Since I have gotten such great customer service, I am giving them 5 stars and going to try to use them with lights in a less high traffic area.I like them because they are rechargeable, but it seems like I am always having to charge them. Maybe they are not lasting as long because I have them in the kitchen where they are coming on a lot. They work great and I love the extra light. Easy to charge and use.

Great Rechargeable battery for the price
With kids in the house, we’re constantly dealing with a battery shortage. From toys to gadgets, it feels like the batteries always run out at the most inconvenient times, especially when the kids find a new favorite toy that eats up batteries quickly. I decided to try rechargeable batteries, and so far, it’s been a fantastic solution. Here’s a detailed review based on our experience:1. Eliminates the Constant Need for New BatteriesOne of the biggest advantages of switching to rechargeable batteries is that we no longer have to deal with the endless cycle of buying new batteries every time something dies. With kids constantly playing with battery-powered toys, it felt like we were going through packs of AA and AAA batteries weekly. These rechargeable batteries have put an end to that. Instead of running to the store every time a toy runs out of juice, we just recharge these batteries, and they’re good to go again.2. Quick Charging TimeAnother thing I really appreciate about these rechargeable batteries is how quickly they charge. We’ve all been in situations where we need batteries for something urgently, and with some older rechargeable options, charging could take hours. These batteries, however, charge in a reasonable amount of time. Within an hour or two, we have fresh batteries ready to use, which is especially helpful when the kids are eager to get back to playing with their favorite toys.3. Environmentally FriendlyIt feels good to be reducing our environmental impact. Instead of throwing away single-use batteries every time they run out, these rechargeable batteries can be used over and over again. It’s a small change, but it makes a difference in cutting down on waste. We’ve definitely noticed a reduction in the number of battery packs we need to dispose of, which is a win for both our household and the environment.4. Cost-Effective in the Long RunWhile rechargeable batteries might have a slightly higher upfront cost, they end up being far more cost-effective in the long run. Rather than constantly buying new disposable batteries, we’ve invested in a set of rechargeable batteries and a charging station, and that’s all we need. Over time, this has saved us quite a bit of money. The ability to just pop the batteries into the charger rather than buying new ones all the time makes a big difference, especially with kids who go through batteries so quickly.5. Durability and ReliabilitySince switching to rechargeable batteries, we haven’t had any reliability issues. The batteries hold a charge well, and they work just as effectively as regular disposable ones. They have great longevity, lasting through multiple play sessions without any noticeable drop in performance. Whether it’s powering up toys, remotes, or other devices, these batteries consistently deliver.Final ThoughtsIf you have kids and constantly find yourself scrambling for batteries, rechargeable batteries are a total game changer. They save money, reduce waste, and offer a reliable power source that charges quickly and lasts. No more running to the store for last-minute battery purchases or dealing with piles of dead batteries. With these rechargeable batteries, we’ve found a solution that works for our busy household, and I couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a more sustainable and cost-effective battery solution.

Decent battery for short term use
They have to be recharged frequently as they die faster than non rechargeable batteries. After 2 years they are starting to go bad and not recharge. Decent batteries for short term use.

Works great, I love them
Quality product give good performance with relatively inexpensive product. No concerns about lithium runaway either. The key is to get enough to have a good rotation for recharging time.

Be sure to use the included charger
So, not exactly sure what happened initially. The usual 8 bay charger I use for my other rechargables showed these fully charged, but when I popped them into my Roland Ax Edge synthesizer, they died within about a minute. I pulled them, put them in their own charger, and after they showed all green again, popped them back in the synth. They lasted a good 2 hours and were still holding a charge when I stopped practicing, so could probably do another hour at least. Now, it could just be that my other charger is going out on me, too (which is entirely possible). One other thing I want to note about the charger. It's USB-Micro B, NOT USB-C, so, don't throw away the cable thinking you already have a drawer full of USB C cables like I almost did!

AAA rechargeable batteries
Love these rechargeable batteries. I love them so much. I bought them in AA. Also as I have battery operated candles all around the house. I also purchased the power owl charger. The circular one and I just love this product. It holds a charge so unbelievably affordable, I am saving hundreds of dollars just by recharging.

Good for low drain, but consider something else for high drain
I will admit the price was decent for 8 AA and 8 AAA. These cells also do well with low power applications. That’s about as good as they get. The quality of these cells and the claims it makes is questionable. It doesn’t do well with mid to high power devices so don’t expect it to last a while in your power hungry devices. Then again NiMH don’t do well with high drain applications especially cheap ones, a high quality NiMH like the eneloop brand or lithium is more suited to high drain applications, Energizer makes their Ultimate Lithium battery which is pricey, but is suited to high drain conditions and lasts a while. Although now there are rechargeable lithium ion AA and AAA batteries too that are worth looking at. It definitely doesn’t live up to the 2800mah and 1000mah claims, and seeing how some of the cells are after a few cycles, the quality and longevity of these cells are questionable. Overall I would say avoid these batteries and buy something better like eneloop, or the IKEA Ladda which is the same cell as the eneloop for a lower price.
