As detailed in a review for a water filtering jug we tried, my son and I drink about 8 litres of water a day between us. After discovering that the tap water in our house (we live in a VERY hard water area) was making us both feel sick, I decided to take the plunge and start filtering water.We were at the start of a heatwave, we wanted cold water in the fridge, ready to go, but to store the amount we'd get through in a day required an enormous amount of space for the bottles to be stored AND took forever for the jug to filter. Plus, we found, the jug had a weird "chemical tang" when we started using it, which took 3-ish days to lose.Not a great start.But that little jug convinced me that filtered water in the fridge was definitely the way forward, so I thought I'd really commit and buy a little tank for the fridge.Best. Buy. Ever.This tank is sturdy (the tap requires a little attention to seat and fit properly, but it just requires everything to be firmly screwed into place - including the little flippy bit you pull forward to open the tap) and, with smart situating, will fit in my fridge, on the shelf, without stopping the door from closing.It uses the same filters as the jug (which are recyclable), and while there was a tang at first, this faded after a day of use. In fact, in anticipation of this, we let it filter an entire tank of water, poured that off, and then kept the next load we filtered.There is no digital reminder or filter quality indicator, just a little date thingy that you use to remind yourself of when you put the filter in (they last about a month). Honestly, I've set a monthly reminder on my phone to change that - it's possibly the least useful thing about the whole tank.It has a little port in the top that you can remove if you want to fill it quickly (we use a 2l bottle to fill it with tap water whenever it starts ot run low - it takes 2 seconds and you know you'll be good for a while) and it filters that through very rapidly. In fact, we haven't yet run out of cold, tasty water yet.The weird taste of the filter jug water combined with how slow it was to fill (and how much space 8l took up in the fridge) was really discouraging, especially for my son, who I'm trying to wean off fizzy and bottled drinks (to be fair, the house water was making us both feel a little sick - this has now completely stopped) but we have none of that with this tank. The water is tasty, clean and is an absolute game changer for my family and I. The tank takes up a surprisingly small amount of space and filters the water through quickly with no fuss or spills.As a bonus, my son has only asked for fizzy drinks once since he started drinking from the tap. I'm scoring that as a win.

I initially bought BRITA Flow Fridge water filter tank 8.2L on amazon but water filters I have usually fits all Brita Jugs but BRITA Flow water filter tank 8.2L doesn't fit standard Brita Maxtra filter, it only fits Maxtra + filter, so it was useless for me, I have no choice but to return.Then I bought Boston Tech HK-104 Fresia, Water Filter Dispenser 9L and I was surprised to see it fits standard Maxtra filter as well as Maxtra + (plus) water filter and Boston's Tech's own water filters. It has a special shape of a filter mould that fits all three types of water filters. I would strongly recommend Boston Tech HK-104 Fresia, water filter dispenser 9L to other buyers. You don't have to spend you time searching for perfect fitting Filters as Boston Tech's filters fits all three types of filters available in the market. It's is worth the money.

Excellent product, easy to use, value for money, cleaning and refill is so easy. And the plastic is durable and strong enough to withstand a fall from maximum of 2feets.

It's lovely to have cold filter water. Easy to use and the cartridges are easy to buy

Avoid at all costs!, the item leaks and the filter does not allow water though.I tried to return item but the seller won’t respond, oh and it will cost over £80 to return it, which won’t be refunded. Stay away!!

Sehr gut verarbeiteter Wasserfilter, verbessert den Geschmack bei Kaffee und Tee sowie auch beim Trinkwasser. Wir haben sehr kalkhaltiges Wasser. Sehr einfache Bedienung. Der original dazu gelieferte Wasserfilter konnte in keinster Weise überzeugen. Es dauerte eine Ewigkeit bis das Wasser gefiltert wurde und zudem wurde immer nur die hälfte des eingefüllten Wassers gefilterte. Nach sehr kurzer Zeit, ca. 10 maliger Benutzung, wurde gar kein Wasser mehr gefiltert. Nachdem ich einen neuen Filter einer anderen Marke eingesetzt hatte funktionierte die Wasserfilterung richtig flott und das Ergebnis konnte überzeugen. Durch das gefilterte Wasser muss ich meinen Kaffeeautomaten auch nicht mehr so oft entkalken. Ich kann diesen Wasserfilter sehr empfehlen.

Es un depósito de agua que permite dosificarla con un cómodo grifo plástico muy típico de los dispensadores de agua mineral.El depósito tiene un volumen total de 9 litros de los cuales aproximadamente 5 serían de agua ya filtrada (parte inferior) y el resto de agua sin filtrar (parte superior).Se rellena por la parte superior, quitando un tapón plástico (o bien quitando la tapa blanca entera). Se limpia fáicl desmontando todas las partes.El filtro va en el medio es como el filtro de las jarras Brita (Maxtra normal, no Maxtra+).El agua tiene un sabor bastante bueno, tan bueno como el de las Brita (venía usando una Maxtra+) pero había que rellenarla muy amenudo.También es posible usarlo sin filtrar, simplemente quitando la parte superior con el filtro.Se podría meter en el frigorífico, pero es un poco grande para tal fin.El montaje consiste sólo en poner el grifo que se hace muy fácilmente enroscándolo.Tiene unas ruedas con los días del mes y los meses numerados, para recordarnos cuando debemos cambiar el filtro (que es por tiempo o por litros de agua filtrados).El grifo plástico me perdía un poco de agua pero contacté con el vendedor y rápidamente me envió otro para sustituirlo.Los filtros de Boston Tech son más baratos que los de Brita y, al menos para mi, tienen un resultado igual o similar.La principal ventaja sobre las jarras es que si sois varios en casa, es más cómodo que las jarras que hay que rellenarlas con mucha frecuencia ya que no tienen mucha capacidad.

Ho acquistato questo capiente distributore per filtrare l'acqua potabile, in quanto pur essendo già depurata a livello condominiale, contiene comunque del deposito di calcare e cloro. Dopo la consueta procedura di svuotamento del serbatoio per almeno due volte, sin da subito la qualità dell'acqua è migliorata sensibilmente sia per la maggiore trasparenza che dal sapore più addolcito, senza alcun odore di cloro. A quasi un mese dal suo utilizzo il distributore funziona perfettamente e il filtro non rilascia alcun residuo di carboni nel suo alloggiamento. Eccellente prodotto e ottimo sistema di filtraggio dal rapporto qualità prezzo imbattibili. Lo consiglio.

Der Zusammenbau war kinderleicht und schnell erledigt. Noch eben den Filter aktiviert, und schon könnte es losgehen. Wir haben einen Härtegrad von 14 DH. Ich habe zwar nicht gemessen, da keine Möglichkeit vorhanden, aber man schmeckt den Unterschied deutlich. Daher von mir eine klare Kaufempfehlung. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt auch. Ich bin sehr zufrieden.
