I used the water based weld wood - I bought the simple hand tools, roller and I used a zip saw to cut the edges with. If you have the small cordless router it would be much better though. The zip saws base is kind of small and I had some errors that would not be there had I known. I have never done a job exactly like this, only small counters that are just square and many years ago. I am super happy with the rests, If I do it again I will be a little more careful laying it down. once it;s down with that cement on, it;s not coming up in one piece so be careful. this was 50sq feet of counter, the whole job not counting labor was less than 400.00 my quote from a big box store to come do it was 2800 dollars. No joke. we are doing the tile back splash ourselves also. almost done! This is the radiance version. Cabinets and the floor are next! :0)
