loved the finishbut the paint begins to mix after you start to dab on the worktopso resulting in the paint colour in each container mixing up so sponges begin to only have one colourafter short time. more sponges would be good and perhaps some plastic paint pots say 2 for each colourso to keep colours seperate

This kit transformed the old stained, damaged and faded white laminate countertops that we inherited with our house (see before and after photos)Following the instructions to the letter I was easily able to complete the job over a weekend. Most time consuming part was the prep, the painting went on quickly and easily and left a great finish. To get a really realistic granite finish requires some artistic eye but satisfied with what I achieved.After 3 weeks the finish is still perfect and really easy to keep clean.Obviously it isn’t going to trick anyone into thinking it’s real stone but at £80 compared to the real deal at over £2k you can’t go wrong!

A great and economical way of transforming our 20-year old beech worktops, while avoiding the upheaval of replacing them. Followed the instructions to the letter. Applied the primer coat in the evening so it could dry overnight (takes 8 hours), and spent Sunday applying the different layers, as well as the top coat of varnish provided, which gave a nice sheen finish. Delighted with the result. Takes a few days before heavier appliances can be placed on top, but worth the wait, to give paint time to cure. Now to see how hard wearing it is, but automotive grade varnish should do the trick, and tops are now a vast improvement on the previous worn look.

I was a little dubious about this, but the reviews were good, and after pricing new counter toos, thought it worth a try. So glad I did! It was easy to apply, and in 2 days, my counter tips look like new. Definitely give it a go.

Everything about this kit I like.Arrived quickly well packed instructions clear and reassurringly easy to follow,followed instructions to the letter,kitchen top transformed,very pleased an excellent result.

It takes practice - Go very lightly with the sponge when doing the pattern and practice on the card provided...

Good product, I washed sponges half way through just to stop it getting blotchy
