I was a skeptic about the brush, used for few days and wow - shiny hair, great quality and a really good value for the money. Brush feels soft to the touch and I really thought it would be ineffective but it worked out great. Purchased one for myself and one for my daughter. We both love them

I've used the same brush for more than 10 years. It's probably 15 actually. This brush is perfect. It just goes smoothly through my hair. I wear a very short natural style and it's the best thing I could have bought. I like that it comes with a comb as well. The bristles are sturdy but soft at the same time. Would purchase again

Loved it , I recommend it especially that I have very soft hair and all the other brush are too rough for my hair and this is perfectly fine for all types because my daughter also loves it but she has curly hair so I recommend it for all types of hair especially when you want the slick back pony tail or bun

I want to preface this with saying my hair is already damaged since I used to bleach and dye it often, if your hair is already healthy then you might not have the same issues I did.My hair is very fine and it's always been frizzy while drying, but I don't think this brush helped much. It was difficult to run it through my hair even after going in with a detangling brush first and actively made it even frizzer than before; this is especially true for the shorter layers in my hair.It kind of feels abrasive even when I'm brushing my hair while its oily before a shower. I'm not expecting a brush to be super soft or whatever, but I don't think it would suit anyone with sensitive skin/scalp or if you already have damaged hair. It didn't work as a detangler, it didn't work as a normal brush, I ended up just using it to brush my dog's fur instead of my hair so it wouldn't be a wasted purchase. It works fine on their fur, and their fur is a lot thicker than my hair, so... Maybe you'll have better luck if you have thick hair? Not a great comparison but it's something.So like... Yeah it brushes your hair so it functions as a brush, but I think I'll stick with other types of brushes since it just didn't work for me.

This is such a great hairbrush. It does a fantastic job of detangling without pulling hair. I like that the padded part is solid so that water does not get trapped inside the brush if I use it in the shower.

I've been trying out different methods of hair care. Less water used the better for the hair. I tend to go without washing for two to three weeks and it is thanks to the no-shampoo method of hair care. More hair strands are growing out, though silver-gray (normal to get silver hair early; I've been graying since age 15). Anyways I just color my whole head silver to be done with it and just embrace the color that runs deep in the family. With silver hair the strands are delicate so I have to switch the brushes and combs I use to more natural materials to prevent breakage and damage. I use the bamboo comb to de-tangle the hair and the boar bristle brush to clean/ remove dust and other stuff out of the hair. I don't have to wash my hair too often. I also notice that I could go weeks without washing my hair using this no-shampoo method of cleaning my hair. I only need to clean the brush after using it.I clean the brush using half water and half apple cider vinegar. Just soak it in a glass container (I image plastic tubberwear shouldn't be an issue) for five minutes or less. This helps to break down the oils without breaking down the bristles of the brush. Do the same for the comb to clean it thoroughly.Natural wooden combs remove some oils, dust, dirt and other things out of the hair, so clean the comb too. The finer the wooden comb the more it would remove, so clean them. I do want to get a comb more fine than this one. The comb that comes with this set does not remove all dust and dirt, so if you can get a comb that is super fine (ideally for skinny strands of hair) to clean the hair thoroughly. This wooden comb is wide tooth, so it does well with de-tangling and styling the hair, but not that great for cleaning the hair in the traditional no-water method. I do love using the comb by adding a few drops of rose oil or rosemary oil onto it and combing through my hair with it to add shine and scent to the hair after using the brush to remove the natural scalp serum to fluff and clean the hair.Think of this set as a life long hair care set. The comb acts a pre-treament, conditioner and leave-in, while the boar bristle brush acts like a shampoo, scalp treatment and massager.

Soft on hair, but the bristles break easy and they are not long enough to go through my hair, and my hair is thin. It does come with a special comb to clean the hair out of it that works very well on that job.
