WH1000XM3's can be a big investment for something you're using everyday. There are OEM and aftermarket replacements for the ear cups but replacing the headband padding is more difficult and expensive. Plus, YMMV, but Sony pad puts a little extra pressure on one point of the head.For low cost, you can add this easily installed, washable, replaceable accessory which fixes all those concerns! It covers the OEM padding to protect it from oils and friction, so you don't get that cracked and peeling pleather flaking off on the top of your head after long use. It improves the comfort by adding a little more padding and spreading the pressure on the top of the head. And it's still low profile, so it fits in the OEM case and doesn't stand out.Recommended!

I wanted a little more cushion for my head for the Sony WH1000XM3 headphones and also thought it would be nice to have the headphones protected from all the wear and tear so I got these and they went on easily and are more comfortable and they fit well on the headphones. They also are low profile so the headphones still fit in the case. Plus they are a good price.

I purchased this for a Sony WH1000XM2 to extend the life of this 5 year old headphone by not having to get a more expensive replacement headband protector. Works okay for me so far, and to clean it just pop it off, wash it in soapy water, dry it out and zip back on to the headphone. Some of the comments mentioned it does not seem to be meant for curved Sony headphones, but I must have wider head as this protector does not bunch up on me. My only comment on it is that it was mildly difficult to zip up the first 1/2 inch stretching the protector to zip it, but with continued use it might get stretched out and easier to zip it on the headphone.

I love this! Perfect for protecting the non replacable headband on my $500 pair of headphones! It is so satisfying once its zipped up and really feels good on my head! I love it and smile eveytime I look at it! It is thin enough to not interfere with the original design and is thick enough to feel like a good high quality product. The fit and finish of this "band sock" is so good it looks like Sony themselves made it!

Purchased this and was excited to use it with my Sony WH1000XM3. One problem though. It won't zip. The fact I am completely unable to get this to zip without it even being on the headband is mind blowing. The plastic that goes into the zipper is too large, as I can't even get the entire thing inside to attempt zipping up. The image shows as far in as it can go, which is laughable. Complete waste of $10. Either the product I got has faulty issues and needs to be replaced with a functional one or this product is completely faulty. Either way, how difficult is it to mess up a zipper???Will update review if given a replacement and it actually functions.

I got these to put on my XM3's while running because I didn't want to ruin them. They were a good fit, but I feel I might have preferred velco over a zipper.

Bought it to protect my JBL BT65 frow sweat when using them in the gym. Works alright.

This headband work like a charm, smooth and fits well. The zipper stays out of the way. I would definitely recommend this product.
