No broken bulbs here!
This item was hard to find in stores. I needed this for a 3rd grade scientific comparison on bulb efficiency. Thankfully, this arrived on time and intact. I am pleased with this purchase.

Love 'em
I love these light bulbs but they have been so difficult to find. Because of my vision problems I prefer the diffuse light of a compact fluorescent bulb over the blinding glare of an LED. My experience with Feit bulbs has been excellent. Their bulbs last much longerand the brightness of the light does not change over time. I prefer these over other brands.

These Bulbs are Worth the Money
I bought a lamp a couple of years ago and this brand of light bulbs came with it. They are energy saving and last for years. I highly recommend them.

Not dependable
One lasted 8 months, the other one is still going.

I'm switching to LED as they go bad.
Sometimes they last and sometimes they don't. I'm switching to LED as they go bad.

Another green rip-off
These bulbs are energy star rated, RoHS compliant, and supposed to last "up to 9 years" based on normal household use. The long life is purported to offset the high cost of these "eco" bulbs. Our 9 years turned out to be about one year in a recently-installed fixture. I beginning to think that I want my old incandescent lighting back.

Short life
ESL13T/ECO same box as in picture. When I did an energy audit the nice guy gave me 6 of these about a year ago. Used one to replace burned out regular old kind 60 watt as part of a 4 bulb fan light kit in bedroom but use only briefly. I have another light to read by etc.Just noted one light had been burned out for awhile... yep this supposed long lasting one. The other old type 60's that were original when bought house 4 years ago still not burned out

Don't last very long, especially with brief use in humid environment
I obtained 8 of these in Jan. of 2010. As of Jan. 2014 I only have 2 left. They are supposed to last 9 years, based on a 3 hour a day usage. Unfortunately, I did not read the small print on the box before using, which states: "CFLs are best suited for fixtures that are left on for 15 or more minutes at a time. They last longest in dry fixtures that allow airflow...." I put 4 in a bathroom fixture (brief use/humid environment) and they burnt out in the first year or so. I put one in a hurricane lamp (brief use time/minimal air flow), and it too burnt out quickly. The remaining 3 I put in a bedroom overhead fixture (non-humid/variable use time), and the remaining 2 working bulbs are from that fixture.
