Really good price for great quality!
What can I say, I was surprised with the quality. When I saw it was a large I thought it wouldn't fit seeing how I'm on the small side but the adjustability is good. The modeubility is a nice touch. You can make it as big and small as needed. All the fabric is a little stiff but that should brake in with time. There is plenty of storage space on the vest but I wish the mag punches were a little bigger. They are a little hard to get my 30 round banana mags in, but I suspect that they will loosen up with time. Only other complaint is the holter should have a better attachment set up but its good enough. It fits my polish p64 pretty well and even tried my new model army for giggles. It fits but the 8" barrel stocks out. The belt holds my knife well too. I cant wait to use it hog hunting this winter. Will be nice to have everything on me instead of having to log a bag around. For the value it's a great vest. Will definitely be putting it to work.

You be the judge
I am big on checking the entire spectrum of reviews and tend to pay particular attention to the negative reviews for a product before I actually pull the trigger. That being said, despite all of the negative reviews and the relevant causes for concern I decides to make the purchase and see for myself. So, in this spirit, allow me to address all of the negative reviews you will encounter here in your research. Fit: a lot of reviews will complain that it is not actually sized as described. None of those reviews supported their claims with photos, which lead me to doubt their validity. As a 6'1" middle aged man, pushing 300lbs with a dad body and whiskey barrel chest and belly and a size 38 waist, out of the package this does NOT fit. Guess what though, with six long and adjustable tri-glide fastened straps and adjustable belt (that's is also detachable) with a few moments spent making the necessary adjustments, I was able to improve the fir of the vest to near perfection.Velcro attached pistol holster is not secure, noisy and a poor fit for most sidearms. Well, the holster was able to accommodate my M&P 2.0 with 4" barrel, considered to be compact, and remained attached tightly and made zero Velcro noise while removing and replacing swiftly and forcefully and tugging on the pouch itself while the weapon was holstered to simulate potential snagging or bruahing. No movement and no noise- it is possible that the fabrication has been improved since these reviewsNot actual Marmot brand: this may be accurate. The attached retail tag featured the Marmot logo on mine, but I could not help but feel like it could likely be a replica, seemed outdated and a little blurry. Another common complaint: not professional grade tactical vest: it's a $40 product, you can't be serious with your expectations- you will be getting what you are paying for. However, this is an exceptional quality product with my sole agreement being in th quality of th zipper. It is janky and you can just tell it will inevitably ruin itself, which is why I was prepared prior to purchasing the item to replace the zipper with a component of better quality the moment it fails. Above all, I agree this is an entry level tactical vest and won't be my final venture into chest rigs, plate carriers and the like, but I really believe if you enter this transaction with realistic expectations, it will be really difficult to find a lot to disappoint with.

Best Tactical Vest for under 40 Dollars
Very well made tactical vest for under 40 dollars. I read the reviews and made up my mind to order this vest and found it to be a great choice for my money. I couldn't be happier.Excellent quality and design. Full featured. Great holster, holds a full size .45 Paramilitary Pistol, which is removable.Pistol clip holder is removable and hold 3 Full sized clips.I really love the features and this vest has plenty of back webbing for attaching gear, medical packs, emergency gear and more.Plenty of Velcro ID patch areas. One large one on the back for a large rectangle police or security patch ID. Front pocket flap is easily velcroed to the inside and gives you space for another ID patch.Shotgun shell holder holds 5 rounds and is also removable, giving you another place for a ID patch or more Velcro backed gear.Just very well made and absolutely the best bang for the money. Easily adjusted for any sized person and breathable meshing makes it very comfortable.Exceptional low cost vest with great detail to quality.A++ in my opinion. Seller is top notch and answered a few questions I had before ordering.

well made vest
here is my run down on the tactical vest1) first thing I noticed (and inspected for) was the quality of the stitching. All too often you get a garment and loose threads and uneven stitching. Not the case on this vest2) This vest is very adaptable in terms of size. There are 3 adjustable straps on each side that allow this vest to fit a wide variety of body sizes.3) storage options are amazing - 4 @30 round mag sleeves, 4 pistol mag pockets, shotguns shells at the ready, interior pockets to store more or body armor panels, there is even additional storage on the heavy duty belt and Molle straps across the back.4) The mesh base of this vest provides quality air flow to minimize the heat build-up to the wearer5) The pistol mag is strapped for positive retention, but still accessable enough for easy draw and not having to fight to get your pistol ready.6) I can not attest to its durability in true tactical situations, but I did wear it out to the range today and found it very comfortable considering the amount of gear I had stored. All things considered , including the very reasonable price and very fast shipping, this is a 5 Star item

I don’t think it’s really a Marmot
It’s sturdy and the fit is very adjustable, even up to what would be American 3X.The quality of craftsmanship is pretty good, but it definitely has a “Chinese knock-off” feel to it. The dead giveaway is that it zips from the wrong side, the pull is on the left. And the quality of the zipper, itself, isn’t very good. Will it hold? Sure. But it’s certainly not YKKIt’s very stiff. I’m running it through a “heavy duty” wash cycle right now to try to loosen it up, make it more pliable.I’ll revise this review as I wear it in and actually try to use the pouches as intended.
