All of my previous experience with ginseng root has been... well... bitter. Not so with this product. Don't use it for cooking or anything like that, use it as a chewing gum or other sweet treat replacement. I simply put a small-dish piece in my mouth and as it slowly softens it gets gently chewed and consumed. These baby organic american ginseng roots are very sweet. They still have that earthy ginseng flavor but not the overt bitterness of other roots I have had. Excellent product. Great price. Great service.

After soaking overnight, roots became palatable. How do I know what dose I am getting when I eat the root?

Started to use these ginseng as herb supplement to boost immunity and metabolism. I didn't catch a flu in the past two winters even without the flu shot. Not only that, my energy level also rose so much so that I don't even need my daily coffee anymore. This is after I started a daily cup of the ginseng power water for about a month.

I am no expert in gensing. All I have done is read up on it. So what I write here is just off the cuff. The root is hard and tastes like dirt. I sense no energy boost at any dose. I am going back to just drinking coffee. Maybe I am too old and in my efforts I am "just kicking a dead horse" here. However, I have no idea why this plant has such a following. Other than mysticism and superstition.

It’s what you expect. Which is a good thing! It’s authentic and tastes like some good ginseng. I have had a couple of other different brands of ginseng and this one is good. This one is more earthy tasting some otherwise have tried were slightly more sweeter but don’t let that bother you at all! Ginseng is a earthy plant to begin with you are getting it for the benefits not the overall taste. I recommend breaking it into pieces if you want to put it into a water bottle they are decently thick as portrayed in the picture.

Fast next day delivery. Started using yesterday. The ginseng roots smell fresh and natural. It’s very dried out and hard. So I recommend using a real nut and spice blender to make powder if you intend to. Or you can chop off a thin slice to lightly boil in water to have it. Will update on effects in a few weeks.

I used to buy dried Ginseng root back in the 70s. It was quite easy to obtain in the UK not so much anymore. Everything seems to have been reduced to powders and pills. I came across this died root and decided to see what the quality of this compared to my experience of the same raw root from decades before. As soon as I used it I knew it was quality. Definitely recommended if you are looking for something other than the processed rubbish touted as real Ginseng. Buy this. You won’t be disappointed.
