This bed is absolutely perfect. Very sturdy and surprisingly stylish. The dark grey upholstery and simple clean shape will fit almost any decor. It doesn’t look cheap at all. The storage capacity is maximized to use the entire space under the bed - a life saver for small apartment living. The drawers slide easily on my relatively thick carpet and I love that they lock in place on the frame. I’ve been using it for sleep, storage, and reading/tv watching for 3 months now and it is still very sturdy and looks brand new.The bed comes in one box and I was shocked at how small it was. It was pretty heavy but I (medium-sized girl) was able to slide it from my apartment lobby to the elevators to my room without help. If you have stairs, it will likely be a two person job. The bed is broken down into lots of pieces to minimize shipping size, therefore it takes a little effort to put together. I did it alone in about 1.5 hours. Luckily each piece is very light so it was easy to do by myself. Most of the time was just getting all the screws tightened.Only downside is the back of the headboard is not finished - just a piece of black cloth covering the frame so it wouldn’t look good in the middle of the room. But since most people put their headboards against a wall, it’s not a problem.

I was worried with the other reviews I had read.This bed was not hard to put together with two people it took maybe an hour.It is in fact very sturdy. I am not sure why so many people said they had to reinforce it. Its already well enforced in several places.The metal is strong not cheap.I really wanted a bang for my buck bed that would last.I had to make sure I read all the reviews and ratings not just here but other sites as well.Well I am glad I went with my gut on this one, because we have had it for several month and not a single issue.The only thing I did was add non slip to the bottom legs so that my floors weren't scratched. Works like a charm.The drawers are not in place, but they work just fine. Its not a hassle to have them this way. they font just slide around, there is a bar that keeps them from going too far astray.The drawers are actually really big.I wanted to do away with a 4 drawer dresser I had, and I did. with only two of the drawers I fit most of the items.This IS the bed to beat all other beds.Dont let the bad reviews scare you away.

I've had this bed for about a month now. It feels sturdy, doesn't make a lot of noise, and stores a lot of stuff. Assembly was fairly straightforward. I've only run into two issues. First, when were assembling it, we tried to remove one of the black grips that holds the plank in the middle and it snapped. I am worried that they're built to be assembled once, not disassembled and re-assembled. This is an issue for me because I don't expect to be living in my current house forever, but we'll see how it goes. The second issue is minor. Since the drawers are not on a track like they would be in a dresser, they don't always go in straight. If you have any objects that rub against the bottom of the bed, you may have trouble getting the drawers back in place. Even with these concerns, I'm very pleased with the bed. I like that the drawers lock in place.EDIT (2021): It’s been about two years since I purchased this bed. I’ve moved twice in that time, meaning I’ve had to disassemble and reassemble twice. The frame of the bed still holds up, but as expected the plastic grips have not. Mine have snapped and warped to the point where some don’t fit where they’re supposed to anymore. If you have to disassemble this bed, DO NOT try to remove the plastic grips. They are not meant to be removed. Just unscrew the sides of the frame and remove the wood slats that way.

The quality of this bed is just medium, but it is attractive. The drawers are just thin plastic and I was impressed with how thin they are. That said, I don't recall getting extra screws and parts to assemble a piece of furniture. In addition, the instructions are extremely clear and the manufacture truly made this bed frame easy to assemble. There are also of parts and it took me at least two or three hours.........but overall, it's good looking, sturdy and I'm very happy with this purchase.

Overpriced for the very low quality. Your medical bills will be three times higher than the cost of this bed, so add that into the price.The wooden slats are of a criminally low quality. I have been having shoulder pain for the past year and looking back that is exactly when I started sleeping on this bed. Accupuncture, physical therapy, etc.. have NOT helped and I woke up with horrible back pain this morning. After suspecting it may be the bed frame I started reading the other reviews on here and I am realizing my issues are all because of THIS BED!!! I or my partner are not overweight and we both have back, neck and shoulder problems after using this horrible product for about a year. Amazon should ban this company. I want my money back!

I love my bedframe. Its got deep drawers which give lots of storage space. The drawers have wheels making them easy to pull open or push close. The plastic inside is sturdy. I caught my 45lb 5 year old standing in it and it held up to her. It was easy to put together. For one person it took about an hour. Its at a great price. The color is true to the picture. I wish it sat a little higher and once put together its hard to move around the room to rearrange. I would recommend to a friend.

We love this contemporary bed frame, it is slimline and offers tons of storage. It took time to put together but I did it with my 15-year-old son and the process was easy. The directions and hardware were the best I've ever seen. great quality product and I highly recommend it. Check out the Novogratz family, the designers. A very interesting story! I took months trying to find a product that worked for my son's room. Very happy customer!!

Hello bed looks great but they sent the wrong hardware. Missing lots of important screws. Had to call company and get new hardware shipped. Not fun waiting while bed box sitting all over my bedroom
