This Bristan tap replaces an astracast targa tap which I bought that claimed to be duel-flow but was in fact a single flow mixer tap which is not suitable for gravity hot water(immersion heater type).This Bristan tap is a genuine duel flow mixer which keeps the high pressure water cold separate from the low pressure hot water until the exit nozzle, The only con is the hot water squirts with a fast-narrow stream of water-that if it hits the bowl of a spoon in the washing up bowl you may get soaked.

Description error
Flexipipes was shown on the diagram, but two copper pipes were included. Apart from a description error the tap required a plumber to install due to a lack of flexipipes. Once set up the tap worked well.

A good tap for low pressure.
Having spent ages looking for a good low pressure tap (to replace one that just dribbled warm water) This one was perfect. Easy to fit and well made.

Beware of easyfit taps.
very noisy and after 5 months use it "jumped" off the sink top causing a flood in the kitchen. It is an "easy fit" model which means two small grub screws hold the tap body onto the base fitted to the sink. These screws are prone to becoming loose so I advise googling "bristan easyfit problems" and watch the youtube clips by Hamish Erskine before buying an easyfit bristan tap.
