Q: Can this hose be field repaired ?

Almost any hose can be repaired if you do it correctly. If the hose has a leak cut the hose in two at the leak. Go to the hardware store and buy a BRASS barbed hose connecter for the size hose to be repaired along with two stainless steel hose clamps. Use this set up to splice your hose back together. Get back to watering 💦!

Q: What is the maximum water temperature. I’m needing to run a pressure washer off of a boiler water tank.

Much depends on the pressure of the hot water. My experience with the rubber used in garden hoses and my solar water heater is that at residential pressures (50-70 psi after regulation), you are running a blowout risk once you get into the 150F range. Your mileage may vary, of course.

It does not and it's not worth the money. Mine has two holes in it after owning it just a few months.
