I am writing this review after using this product for 2 months occasionally. I bought this headphone for my 5 year old kid. While doing research for headphones, I was surprised to see many customers complaining about the low sound in the headphone. But the whole purpose of having separate headphones for kids is that they are comfortable and control sound levels so that high sound does not damage kids ears.The headphones are good looking and comfortable to wear for the kids. They will easily fit kids aged 4-10 years. The build quality is medium and might not last long. But in this price range, one cannot complain much.The only gripe is that the cushioning for the ears is not that great and may come out soon if used regularly. Overall quality is decent and good for occasional use.

Got this item on lightning deal for 177/- only! Very cute and fits my 1.5 year old daughter perfectly! In fact, she started crying when I took it away and packed it up to be used later! It's a safe headphone for kids since the volume doesn't go beyond 85db. It's got a soft foam padding and is comfortable for kids to wear.

Nice. Good for kids around 5 years. But foam was damaged within a week. Wire is too delicate. Since it's for kids of age 4-5 years it should be more strong.

Was very happy with the product when it came but within 2 weeks it stopped working and now the window to return it has also closed... could have returned it only within 10 days and now i am stuck with earphones that don't work! Please buy at your own risk!!!

Excellent quality sound and not at all too loud for children. Although it won't work on aeroplanes, due to the restricted decibel levels, my son really enjoys them everywhere else.

It's very cute in look. But not for more than 6-7 yrs I guess... Very delicate

They sounds OK and do work but one channel failed after 2 weeks.They need to work on their cable strengths and tension relief.

Bought two of them and they work perfectly! The metal frame doesn't break when my 5 and 4 years try to stretch them to far apart to place them on there head, not like the cheap plastic ones at the dollar store and the sound is just loud enough for them.

Mein Kind ist 6 Jahre alt, aber das bedeutet nicht, sie mag es nicht, um Musik zu hören. Musik mit diesen Kopfhörern klingt schrecklich, blechern und ohne Niederregister Töne nicht hören können. Und sie nicht in ihr Ohr passte überhaupt. Die verschiedenen Einsätze Größe keine Rolle, waren alle zu groß und die Kopfhörer fiel einfach aus ihrem Ohr.

I know with young children you need volume control to protect their hearing but neither of my kids can hear anything out of these headphones even when their devices are at full volume.

My daughter loves these, and they have held up relatively well with a 3 year old.

My kids...boys and girls...range in age from 9-17. They all love these earbuds. The Walrus style are classy enough (don't look too much like a Walrus) so nobody complains that they look too 'kiddish'. We have owned these for a couple years now. We purchased extra so that when we lose them we always have some on hand. They seem to wear just as good as any other ones we have and I don't have to worry about my kids losing their hearing. The volume goes high enough that we have never had the problem of the volume being too low, but our family has always been conscientious about volume of our devices. They are comfortable to wear and don't make my ears ache after using, like the hard plastic ones do.

I bought these for my 6year old son. We were so excited about them. They were perfect fit and his favorite color. I liked how they were an ear bud style w limited volume for little ears. The sound quality was good until one earbud just stopped working after about a week. Such a bummer!

First pair of these lasted about a year with a 6-year-old handling them roughly, winding the cord up wrong, messing with the ear pads, dropping an old-school iPod while wearing them. That's pretty good, really. The volume-limiting characteristic certainly works and I strongly recommend it for kids. These are light so that Jr.'s head doesn't feel weighed down.

My son just started the 2nd grade. I have let him have over-the-ear headphones to use with his DS but have always worried about them being too loud. When I received an email from his teacher that they would need ear buds for use in school I was worried. I personally developed tinitus after working on a flight line without adequate hearing protection and I didn't want that for him. After a long search for volume limiting ear buds I chose these. I wasn't worried about size because my boy already has an adult sized head...really...we wear the same size hat! Shipping was fast and reliable just the way I have become accustomed to Prime. I was pleased to see that they did include different sized silicon ear pieces. The medium was perfect for him but I went ahead and tried the other sizes to see if he liked them better.Changing those were super frustrating. After about 10 minutes of trying to force them on, I figured out to flip the outer portion over, then they attached much easier.My son loves them and says the walrus tusks make him the coolest kid in the class! Bonus is that I'm not worrying about him damaging his hearing. I am buying another set to keep at home.

Received item in its original packaging, how ever the package was covered in a layer of dust,looked like it had been sitting around somewhere for a while. Used the earbuds and on the second day the right one stopped working. Can not get it to work. My son was very disappointed, he said they were very comfortable for the whole few hours they worked.

As a teen from the 80's, I believe I have damaged my hearing from listening to my music wayyy too loud. I bought these for my sons because they seem to listen to things loudly. This prevents the from putting up the volume too much. I have a hard time hearing with these when I am in a room with other noise but my son's have never complained. Great price also.

These headphones are not adjustable, and must have been designed for younger kids - it does not fit my 9-year-old boy. Also, I tried using them to make sure they were volume limiting and almost went deaf - of course, I'm exaggerating, but I don't thing these work to limit volume. I could hear the normal volume as with any other normal headphones.
