Amazing book!
My son was diagnosed with ADHD and I had no idea how to cope with it. I bought this book in order to gain some insights as to what he was going through and I have to say, it is a lifesaver! I learned so many coping mechanisms, body language features, and hardships that he deals with daily. It taught me how to interact with him for the future.

Very helpful book
My son has adhd and I was looking for something that can teach me more on how to raise him and teach him. This book is awesome! It has suggestions on how to discipline, special diets to cut out more sugars, and a lot more. It has let me see what it's like for him living with adhd also. If you are a parent struggling to raise your adhd child this is a good read. I highly recommend it.

Great reference book
Great reference book. Gives multiple ways to manage ADHD and incorporate it into your life. One of the better books I've read on the subject.

Seems to be out of date. Ok for a primer; would definitely recommend readers follow up with significantly more recent material.
It seems to be out of date. I can only imagine that much has changed in the 11 years since this edition has been published. Ok for a primer but would definitely recommend readers follow up with significantly more recent material.

An Essential and Comprehensive Guide
As a specialist in diagnosis and treatment of ADHD in adults, I found this book to be absolutely excellent in setting out all the issues around diagnosis, treatment options and would seriously recommend it to anyone who wants to know a lot about this most common of neurodevelopmental disorders.
