The Lemonade Crime

Great book and very entertaining. My children and I had a book club and read this book it was so much fun. The drama and anticipation kept our attention. It also kept us wanting to read more and more to find out the ending. It’s great to have a book that helps keep your kids engaged and let’s them enjoy reading. We are now reading the next book in the series The Bell Bandit.

The neighborhood (Berwick, Pa and surrounding school district) read 'The Lemonade War' together. I'm not exactly how or why that came to be. We enjoyed it as a family and wanted to see how the story continued. We ordered 'The Lemonade Crime' and finished that as part of our summer reading program and enjoyed it fully. 'The Bell Bandit' is next on our list. We highly encourage the series. To close the loop, we did read the entire series (5 books in all) and cannot say enough good things about it. Still a highly recommended series for young readers. In addition, if your young reader enjoyed this series, might we also recommend the Theo Boone, Kid Lawyer series by John Grisham. We are thoroughly enjoying that series as well.

My 6 & 8 year old loved the lemonade war and as soon as we'd finished they were asking to read the next one in the series, which is The Lemonade Crime. We are now up to the third book. They really enjoyed the trial in the lemonade crime and were quite fascinated about how a court worked and how you need evidence of a crime to find someone guilty. I didn't think it was as good as the first book, but my kids really enjoyed it and kept asking to read more and if they are enjoying it that much it deserves 5 stars in my book.

Great and perfect for 10 years old.! My daughter loves it.!

I bought this book for my 6 yr old yesterday and he dug right in to the first book. This is no easy task for him to read, he does not like to read. He is advanced in school, but reading is his biggest downfall...he only enjoys books that teach him something or are about something he enjoys. We have all the Dr Seuss books, I loved them and my two oldest loved them, but not him. He will not read them. So, to have a book that he enjoys and will read is a great book, in my book! I really think he will enjoy the second one just as much and can't wait for the third one!

I was buying these for a school reading group and they were a better price on Amazon than at my local kid's bookstore even with a teacher discount. I would have bought more if they had more stock.

Another well written book in the series. There are some very good learning opportunities mixed with in the fun story. I will definitely continue the series!
