Will it be loud when using it?

I just received this ultrasonic dog chasing device, I started it, the sound I can accept, after all, it is an electronic product, there is a subtle little sound.

No, it doesnt cause any pain to the dog. Also, it doesnt seem to have ANY effect on the dog. I've got two of them and they dont appear to work. I've tried it on multiple dogs with no effect.

does this have a red laser pointer for dogs to chase?

It has a light that shines out of it when you press the button. I'm not sure if that is supposed to be a deterrent or not. However, the ultrasonic part doesnt seem to have any effect on dogs, at least in my experience. You might want to look at another option for dog deterrent.
