Overall this case is pretty poorly designed.Construction and material is very similar to a lot of other folding tablet cases. The outside of the case has a rubberized feel to it while the inside of the screen cover is cloth-like. It's tough to tell how it'll hold up with extensive use but it does a good job at covering the iPad and its edges.The major downfall of this case is the USB-C charging port. The apple USB-C cable, Anker USB-C cable, and a Nintendo Switch USB-C cable would not fit into the charging slot. The only way to charge the iPad is to take it out of the case each time which can become tedious!I haven't had a chance to test the Apple Pencil 2 charging capabilities yet, but I will provide an update once I purchase a pencil. ### ⭐ Major disappointment *by G***2 on Reviewed in the United States on December 13, 2019* I’ve relied upon this brand and style of case across several years and iPads; however, this particular iteration is far too difficult to install and doesn’t fit well. It forces users to apply a great deal of pressure along the edges of the iPad’s screen during installation, which, alarmingly, could cause inadvertent damage to the LCD. You might even notice those telltale swirls while trying to essentially force your new 1K+ device into this product. To make matters worse, a user who may have compromised their screen while putting this case on the iPad Pro 12.9-inch will find that it doesn’t even fit flush around each of the iPad’s sides and corners. Disappointing and completely unacceptable. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great case, BUT - *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on November 12, 2018* You can't charge the pencil with the case on and the case is well fitted, making it difficult to take off and on. I went with a different case because of the pencil issue but would have preferred this case. Sleek, simple and does the job.
