The very best of Elton John.
Some great hits. You can't beat good classic music.

I had Rocket Man but if you want Song For Guy and Don't Go Breaking My Heart you need this too.

Good discs.
Although the discs themselves were grand and you expect a bit of wear tear from a used product the case that came with them was in a less than usable state although this is easily fixed by a new case.

My favourite Greatest Hits combi
I love this album. Years ago, I had it on tape but the quality of that was very, very poor, with drop-outs right the way through it.When I worked at a local hospital radio station, I noticed they had a copy of it on mini disc and promised myself that one day, I would get another copy of it. Many years later, I've finally bought a new copy!Listening to it again tonight, I'm loving listening to each song. I had to grab three GH albums of Elton's, as this one doesn't have every single hit I fell in love with over the years which charted. As for sound quality, this is much, much better. No more drop outs and old tape noises when it's running as my original cassette copy did. This is one of those compilations that will always be around. I can't imagine how many copies it sold when I first bought this compilation, in either late 80s or very early 90s, but it's obviously a big favourite and the album wears well on the ears, even after all this time. I'm so glad to have had the chance to re-add it to my collection The big plus is that every song I had back then on my original copy is here again on this CD version.I especially love Daniel and Rocket Man but there are many others Elton performed throughout the 70s onwards that caught my attention that are also listed on this album. It's lovely to have all my faves available to play now whenever I like! This compilation comes highly recommended.

Now that`s what I call a Legacy!
I am no die hard fan of Elton John but I just had to own some of the great mans music. Like others we used to own this on a 2 set prerecorded cassette that has long expired. For me it provided an emotional roller coaster of nostalgic teenage memories combined with some great times following. Recording quality is great with gutsy bass and subtleties all audible and engaging; the new `remastered' compilation `Diamonds' is due out soon but I decided to go with this familiar classic, and I am loving owning it once more. There are few artists out there that can communicate both melancholic irony and foot tapping joy with equal skill but old Reginald certainly can.

Poor sound quality
Poor sound quality, maybe due to the times it was produced it?
