Best dvd in the market supply by Amazon, original DVD.great picture quality.the exorcist movie is an English film.it dubbed in Bengali sensitively.good product. Everyone should buy this movie who is a horror movies collecter like me. As I am from West Bengal,I bought Bengali version.But after watching that I also bought original English version movie dvd.i attached pictures of both English and Bengali movie dvd. And then I bought Hindi version dvd also which I also attached with others picture. it's a standard horror movie.

Not the Director's Cut version
The item was not the Director's Cut as was shown in the site but the edited version deleting about 10 minutes from the movie. Disappointing performance from Amazon

Two disc U.S. Import version.
Included here are both the extended director's cut -2000 version and the theatrical cut-1973 version, both look and sound amazing considering how old this film is. They've both been re-mastered on two 50gb discs and they've never looked better. I won't go into the extras because there are so many you will be spoilt for choice and there are websites more able than me to go into great detail. All in all a lovely package, oh and did I mention the digibook booklet and a 'personal' message from William Friedkin!

The original Horror classic - Don't watch it alone!
The original scary horror movie. I was there when it was released and people ran out of the cinema screaming! A lot has changes since the 70's but this is still a very good film and if you have not seen it the you definitely should

CLEARER VERSION
A definite improvement on the original version that makes the battle between Good and Evil clearer, along with the battle inside the younger priest who has lost his faith.

A must own horror classic for any horror fan. Perfect horror classic for Halloween or anyone just coming into the horror genre. The stories behind the making of this film and everything involved with production is a story on it's own! This movie is the perfect beginning into the new TV series, The Exorcist on Fox, which is now renewed for a second season and is praised by critics and horror fans alike.
