Sturdy and functional
After being sorely disappointed purchasing another top-rated tray, I started my search again for a better travel tray for my 2.5-year-old toddler. We travel cross-country every year by plane so I wanted something my son could use while sitting in his car seat during the long flights. This may not be as cute or attractive-looking as the tray I returned, but this functions WAY better (function always trumps looks!). The walls are made of thick, rigid material and the velcro holding them together is secure and heavy-duty. I really like the generous size of the side pockets. I can easily fit regular-sized markers in the pen slots and the zipper pocket on the other side can fit plenty of goodies for travel. There is a zipper beneath the tray that is easily accessible when the tray is folded and buckled. While the zippered compartment is pretty tight, I can fit several thin coloring and sticker books. The selling point for me were the little square holders atop the tray surface. They are simple to attach and detach should you need the entire tray surface. The tablet holder is just okay—not very tall and the border would impede in the viewing area, but I’m not planning on using it as a tablet holder so it’s not a loss for me. In fact, I used it today for my son’s Priddy book—perfect fit. It held the book open and upright while he ate his lunch in the car. There are ample pockets on either side of the tray walls, and the surface material seems like it will withstand plenty of use. I did detect a bit of a chemical smell upon opening the tray, but after a day, I can no longer smell it. I wiped the surface down before its first use and placed a disposable placemat (the kind that sticks to tables) before allowing my son to eat on it. He enjoyed his meal and the car ride, so I’d say this is a winner. Note: I used this in the car rear-facing and as you can see, the tray sits a bit high against my son and is at an angle due to the positioning of his car seat. Still, it worked fine.

Great Tray
My wife and if found this to be a very nice tray that was sturdy and worked well. It was very stable and easy to assemble. Unfortunately, for us, our decided to stop using it but we would still consider it a great value for the money and we recommend it!

Great solution for airplane travel
At 18 months, my toddler is super into blueberries, cars, and dropping things. This can make for a lot of frustrations for all of us when flying. I started researching options to contain the situation and came across this lap tray. Although it is primarily advertised to be used on the child's lap while in the car, the size of it is absolutely perfect for setting on top of an airplane tray to help confine the play. As you'll see from the photo, it fits like it was designed to go on the seat back tray. There's also the bonus that then my son's snacks and toys don't constantly get wiped all over a dirty airplane tray (despite me wiping it down with sanitizer, it's still kinda gross), but at least generally keeps on the Kenley lap tray. There are two reasons why I give this 4 stars instead of 5. First of all, the size of it does fold up pretty flat, but it doesn't fold down the middle, so it didn't fit in any of our carry-ons other than a literal suitcase. Luckily because we checked almost everything, we did have an extra hand to have this as a standalone carry-on, but it seemed pretty silly with how flat it was that it couldn't fit in anything. Secondly, there is no way to strap it down onto the tray. Since this was primarily just made for laps in a car seat, there's no understrap, only the carrying strap which is far too long. This would be an easy addition to make it airplane friendly and then I wouldn't have to worry about it slipping around. It didn't do that too much on its own, but when my son got a little excited with the cars, we would often have to have one hand on it to keep it from sliding around or sliding off.Overall though I think it's a great travel companion for little kids.

So great for car trips
Bought these for my grandchildren for a cross country car trip. They worked just like I hoped. Great for coloring and snacking and reading. Worth every penny!

Amazing for kids
Love this. Helps with keeping the little entertained during car rides, great for his tablet to watch cartoons and holding my phone. Looks just like the picture and fits in the car. Easy to carry from the house to the care and not hard to put together or take apart

Promised Peace on the Road… But Delivered a Messy Exodus 🚗🍎🙄✝️
This tray looked like a miracle promise when it arrived—snack holder, coloring surface, and tablet stand all in one. But let me tell you: it didn’t part the chaos like Moses, it more parted my sanity. My toddler instantly used it as a crumb catcher, toy launcher, and drawings-on-dad’s lap launchpad. It slid, slipped, and ended every car ride in trial and error. More like a wolf in sheep’s clothing, not a blessing for travel.Proverbs 14:16 says, “The wise fear the Lord and shun evil, but a fool is hotheaded and yet feels secure.”I felt secure buying this tray—what could go wrong? Clearly, I was acting hotheaded. 😂Final Word:Not a travel savior. More like a travel snare. If your goal is a calm, crumb-free ride? Keep driving past this one.

Very practical.
It’s very practical with lots of pockets, perfect for storing colored pencils and small toys. There’s also plenty of space for drawing. My son really love it!

Fits great!
Fits over his cup holders but that's ok because it has a place for a drink. He can color and have a meal, this is an AWESOME addition to our roadtrips. Also, he loves to sit cross-cross applesauce and it tilts the table up but he still draws no problem.
