Grip Pro trainer is an extremely effective finger-hand-forearm strength and endurance trainer. It comes in 3 different levels of difficulty: Green-30lb max resistance (easier)-for lighter weight people and warming up, Black-40lb max resistance (medium) for average weight men to train with and Red 50lb max resistance (difficult) for big guys or lower rep strength training. Can be used anywhere and anytime. Try 3 sets of 30-100 reps a couple times a week for best results over time. Its also great for stress relief. This is a set of three grips that comes with one of each size: 30 lb, 40 lb, and 50 lb.

Looks Can Be Deceiving
Okay, so to get this point straight first: I'm by no means a huge, strong guy. I workout and am reasonably strong for my age (don't ask) but not a he man by any stretch. Having said that, this product is a bit deceiving. I already have the full set of Captains of Crush grippers (on my BEST day I can BARELY close the 200 lb grippers). Going by the "weights" assigned to those grippers, I can pretty easily close the 100 lb. one. So I figured with THESE, the 50 lb. would be perfect, as I only wanted something for in the house to casually pick up and work with. Well, the 50 lb. is roughly comparable to somewhere between the 150 lb and 200 lb COC grippers. I think they need to label these better. I bought the 50 lb figuring they'd be a solid quick workout when, in fact, they are SUPER challenging. I would highly advise getting at least one step lower than you think. They are very well constructed though.

Great for improving grip strength and relieving RSI symptoms.
I love this little thing. I use it to try to improve my grip strength for rock climbing, but I do a lot of typing for work and I also find it helps a lot when I get a bit of RSI - if I have pain or numbness in my hand or forearms, periodically squeezing this seems to help a lot. Having had a couple of them, be aware that the resistance will reduce a bit over time, but they still provide a good workout after a couple of years for me at least.

Great Set Hand Grip Forearm Strengtheners
I purchased this set of Hand Grip Forearm Strength Grippers for my husband. He's no body builder; just a regular guy with medium sized hands, who works out on a regular basis. Before these grippers, he had tried a couple of other ones, but didn't really care for any of them. He absolutely loves this set. He says they fit perfectly in his hands and are so comfortable to use; one of his main complaints about the other ones that he tried is that they hurt his hands whenever he used them. The set includes all three weights; 30, 40, and 50lb resistance. We've had them for a couple of years, and my husband still uses them a few times a week. He says that he still gets a really good workout using the 50lb resistance ones and the 40lb ones are great for a quick, easy workout. He no longer uses the 30lb ones because it is too easy for him, but I do on occasion. It's an intense enough workout for me! LOL My hubby says that this set of forearm strength grippers are perfect for a super quick, convenient workout, with great results!

Train grip is exactly right
These rings are indestructible. They are a great spread and can choose the resistance as needed. They are more comfortable on your hands than other types of grip training tools, not to mention can easily be outgrown. These do not wear out, and the red is definitely a superior resistance. If you are looking for something you will not outgrow that will last years upon years, definitely worth the buy.

Grip Pro Trainer 3 piece Set
I saw the Grip Pro Trainer advertisement in the back of a Men's Health magazine. I had been looking for a way to increase my grip strength and forearms. So, of course, I did a quick search on Amazon and found them. After reading the other reviews, I knew I was getting a good product, not just the manufacturer's point of view.I have tried the other style (springs, putty, etc) and really like the Grip Pro Trainer(s). The price is right at about $7 each/$21 for the full set. The Green one is fairly easy, the Black one is a little but tougher, and the Red one pretty tough to squeeze. There is a slight weird latex plastic smell when you first get them, but it seems to subside a bit, and is really not noticeable unless you stick it right under your nose. The convenience and portability of the Grip Pro Trainers make them easy to keep in your desk drawer or pocket and is a great way to exercise your grip anywhere, any time. It's also a great way to relieve some stress during long meetings at work! One of my co-workers recently had surgery on his elbow which really decreased his grip strength. He has tried several different styles of putty from his physical therapist, but he wasn't happy. I suggested he try the Grip Pro Trainers. He tried mine out. He really liked them and said he was going to order a set.I've had mine only a few weeks, but they seem to be very durable and should last a long time. Even if they wore out and only lasted 6 months, I'd be happy with the purchase and would buy them again.

works better than anything else
I bought the three pack because I was not sure what model would work best for me, but I have been using the 40lbs Grip Pro and it works great. I have tried a variety of grip trainers and this one is by far the best. I have a spring trainer but it always pinches my fingers and does not seem to provide much resistance even though I have the extra heavy tension version. I have also tried a few other types of grip strengtheners and found them to not really provide much in the way of real resistance and most felt awkward in my rather large hands. The Grip Pro is great because it definitely gives your hand and forearm a real workout (you can definitely feel the burn). Also, unlike other grip strengtheners, you can really get your thumb involved in the workout whereas most other trainers really only work your fingers and your thumb remains static. Finally, it seems like a pretty durable product and will likely last a long time.About the only downside is that my hands are not particularly rough and I am starting to develop some calluses from using the grip pro. This is not really a negative about the product, more the fact that my hands were a little on the soft side and needed some toughening up.

The best equipment to exercise the forearms.
So easy and comfortable to use. Better than any other equipment I have used to far. It fits easily in my coat pocket, I can even use these to work out on my way to school (get a good 30 minute workout). They can literally be use anywhere at any time. Much more comfortable than metallic hand grips, the only pain you feel is in your forearms not in your hands and fingers.Took off one star because they have this rubber smell (it's that big of a deal). They also have this writing on the side containing the companies' website which becomes uncomfortable after a period of use. Other than that they are wonderful.
