I planned to use 2 of these to suspend gymnastics rings. They are massive, well-made, and appear to be of professional quality and very easy to use, which is nice if you're perched on a ladder 20 feet up!Unfortunately, I had to estimate the I-Beam size (vs rent the ladder twice) and it was 10", thus a bit too big for the model I bought. Amazon was very gracious about letting me return the merchandise.I certainly would recommend these if you have the right application. I was unable to test whether they might loosen over time.

I used this to secure a heavy boxing bag to the metal support beam in the basement. It gets tight and secure and I felt very confident that it would not come down. It worked well and I would recommend.

Was looking for something made in the USA for a reasonable price for a last minute need. Others were too expensive or would take too long to get here. Normally I would not trust a beam clamp from China, but my application was unique and was not used to support an overhead load. It worked for what I used it for without issue, but I would buy a known and trusted American brand to use when flying an overhead load since lives are at stake and China’s reputation is not one of quality nor safety.

I don't remember where this product was made, but I can tell you my impression. This absolutely looks like a top-quality made-in-the-USA item. It may well be made overseas, but it is obviously made to a high standard. It arrived clean, clearly well-made, and easy-operating. It would have cost me at least double this price to construct a homemade version, and I wouldn't have the confidence in it that I have in this top-quality tool. I highly recommend this product, and it works perfectly on my 4" I-beam.

I ended up returning this because it was really overkill for what I needed. They were great with the return process. I would highly recommend. The item was very well-made and very sturdy and durable.
