Walter the Farting Dog: Banned from the Beach

The book provided a lot of laughs for my 4, 6 and 8 year old grandsons, especially since we takea family trip to the beach every year.

Kids always find the subject funny & this book helps normalize the feelings they have about it. As far as reading level, my grand-daughter reads 2 1/2 grade levels above her age group so it was easy for her to read.

GREAT book

I bought this book for my 3rd grade grandson. He thought it was funny. The illustrations were kind of weird, but it served its purpose. It fostered a desire to read more in him.

Our 5 year old grandson is all about "toilet talk". We decided to embrace it with this find. The story is comical and sweet and we have all had a lot of laughs - especially enjoying our grandson's laughter!

To read to my grandsons! I’m a retired school librarian and know how much kids live this series. It may be offensive to parents who don’t acknowledge the realities of animal biology, but it is a hit with kids who love to laugh!

Walter the dog expels more flatus from his anus at unsuspecting folk. Hilarity ensues.

Very good book as well as the first one I bought

love this book

This book was recommended to my by an ECE who was supporting my sons frustration and outbursts. This book is a bit inappropriate, and I dont think my son grasps that just because Walter farts, people dont like him. I wish it was a bit more supportive. Its a funny book, but Im just not sold. Maybe Im too sensitive for the PG13+ content

My 5 year old loves these books, our 9 year old even hangs around when I read it because it's so funny. We bought the farting plush toy along with the books and I highly recommend you get it. My son loves making it fart whenever Walter does in the story. NOTE: I posted this review in all the books we got because they are all equally good, highly recommended!
