The storyline and characters and simplicity is what makes this book so loveable!It takes great skill to write and illustrate such a book, and the kids who read it can find themselves in the characters role.Fun and easy to read and reread and reread.It teaches rhyming in a fun way.Recommended this to other friends with kids ages 2-8.

Love reading these old stories from my childhood to my grandchildren!

I was so happy to find this book on Amazon (not found in bookstore searching). I had it as a kid and wanted it for my grand girls--they are growing up in a state with no snow like I did, and can't understand the photos I send them of our snow. I got to read it to them at Christmas and have a "snowball fight." Now they walk around saying, "Snow! Snow!"

Favorite book since childhood

Got this as a gift for a friend! Such a great classic.

Loved this book as a kid and my child enjoys it now too. For those who live in cold climates these activities are part of our winters and this is a cute book to illustrate that for young readers.

Great book for my young granddaughter as we visit the snow together!

This is a wonderful book for small children, with great rhymes and colorful pictures to keep the little ones smiling and asking for repeated read-throughs. It's one of my three year old's wintertime favorites now. I would definitely recommend it to others.

I have been looking for this book for ages as it was one that I loved as a child. I remembered it word for word. The simple rhyming really helps children learn to read.
