Better than the "other" type splice connectors.
I do a lot of electrical work and in the past used the "other" common type of connector for tapping into an existing wire, and I like these much more. First of all you can prep each wire seperately instead of needing to hold both wires at the same time along with the connector, which is difficult. Secondly since they plug into each other they can also be unplugged where in the past I would need to cut the wire. Finally they are just a good overall quality and semi as though they should hold up very well. My only suggestion would be to upgrade the container they come in as it seems a little less robust than I'd like to see, but that's a pretty small issue. Buy them, you'll like them.

I've been tinkering with cars since I'm a teen, replacing radios, lighting, switches, fog light, tail light and I wonder why I never had these until now. Those projects would have been so much easier and less prone to mistakes of cutting the wrong wires and replacing them. These tap made it easier to add, repair DRL, fog lights and tail lights. I already completed three projects on my vehicles from a van, a classic car and a motorhome!

Not perfect
4 stars because these require manual splitting of wire insulation to use or I haven't figured out the trick to make them connect. These connectors are nice for easy disconnecting of of lights

Seam cheap consider others
I bought these and they came opened and the container was practically empty. The clips in the clamps had fallen out of several pieces and had to be reinserted. Look elsewhere

great T-tap set at a good price
A nice kit that made installing my remote starter a snap! Its nice that it comes with the plastic storage container too, rather than just having separate baggies of parts.

Helpful but hard to squeeze with plyiers on small Wire.
Gets the job done and they make it look clean. Hard to use on small auto light wires. They are hard to squeeze to clamp down on the wire.
