Love this stuff!!!!
I am so in love with this stuff! I decided to dive into no poo 2 weeks ago. I had this stuff sitting in my cabinet for a while. I was trying to slowly get rid of my old shampoo routine. But decided I wanted to go no poo ASAP. I gave away my old shampoo products to a friend.I have been doing water only washes and baking soda/ACV rinses every few days. My hair is very oily since I am "detoxing". My hair gets build up fast also due to working out every other day. The baking soda water didnt work too well for me. My hair was still oily and felt clean for only one day. To be a crazy oily mess the next. I decided to try this stuff this morning because I have a gala to attend this evening. My hair was so oily and stringy it is embarrassing. But I didn't want to go back to shampoo.I mixed the powder with water and tea tree oil (3 drops) to form a thick watery rinse. I dampened my hair and added the rise to my scalp/roots. I rubbed it into my scale for a few minutes then let it sit for a total of 5 min. I then washed it out of my hair with warm water. It felt grainy at first and I was worried it wouldn't come out. But I let my hair rinse under the warm water and used my fingers to massage all of it out. When my hair finally dried- It looked so shiny and clean!! It also doesn't feel crazy dry either like shampoo would do. This stuff is amazing. I plan on using it once a week!

Shampoo/soap
I use this powder to wash my hair instead of shampoo. It works great. Just add a little water and make a paste, add a few drops of essential oils if you want it to smell nice. I rinse with Organic Apple cider vinegar with the mother as a shampoo. Soap nuts can also be used as soap and to wash laundry.

Aritha: Great hair strengthener
So far I think I like this. I am experimenting with this powder in combination with henna, brahmi, shikakai, neem based on what I have discovered researching how to strengthen and grow hair from videos on youtube. After the initial use of the combined powders to treat my hair, I noticed significant amount of less hair-fall. That was interesting. I will continue using. Delivery was great- lightening speed. Packaging in mint condition, no issues. Appeared to be a good quality product.

So I was using many products so my hair wouldn't fall as much but was disappointed that none of the products worked
My hair is fragile and not volumized at all. I remember I had long hair when I was 12, but it was just limp and unhealthy, especially toward the end of my hair. I started noticing the amount of my hair was falling at an unusually fast rate about a few years ago. So I was using many products so my hair wouldn't fall as much but was disappointed that none of the products worked. For the past three years, I have been having my hair short so that I could appear to have more hair (and less falling), but now I want to grow my hair back out. Somehow I came across an article about using amla powder can prevent hair loss and increase growth of hair. I was very skeptical at first so I did some research. As I was researching amla powder, I also read through some articles about using combination of aritha, shikakai, amla so I decided to purchase all these products (luckily I did because I don't think amla, although it seems to be okay alone, would gave me the best result)The shipments came within few days of my purchases.First try: I only used the amla powder, coconut oil, and water as a hair mask. I massaged and applied it into my scalp and hair, then left it on for 2 hours then washed off the powder mixed. My hair came out to be oily. Oily was probably due to coconut oil as I accidently put a bit too much in the mix. I had to re-washed my hair with shampoo to get the grease off my head. Although it was a bit of disappointment that the amount of hair falling while washing with amla powder was the same as before using the amla powder, I found the amount of hair falling during the day was not as much as before I had used amla powder. So that was a plus.Second try: 3 days later, I combined Aritha, Shikakai, Amla, two drops of coconut oil and water to mix them until it was a muddy paste. I massaged it into my scalp and applied it to my hair and left it on for 3 hours before I washed it off. Not greasy/oily this time so I didn't use shampoo. Hair falling while washing with the mix was probably the same as before using the mix but amazingly, the amount of hair falling during the day was reduced by a lot. My hair came out to be volumized and cleaned!! I have never felt that clean before. So far so good!! I will continue using these products, and hopefully, my hair will become thicker, new hair will start to grow out, and the rate of falling will reduce.

They say hate is a strong word
I have relaxed hair and I used this to help remove scalp buildup- it did leave my scalp squeaky clean BUT it did not rinse completely away from my hair strands. It leaves tiny particles that stick to your strands causing breakage.

Love it
I use this as a tea to clean my troubled scalp. It's very gentle, get's my scalp clean without flaring my SD. Can't use it as a paste or it will get stuck in my locs. but I really do love this powder when my scalp is giving me problems.
