Easy to install. Works great
It was a tad bigger then expected however it was stupidly simple to cut my counter a tad and drop this in, then it plugs into a standard outlet and does it's job perfectly. The safety feature that if a drop of water touches the "burner" the entire thing shuts off is annoying but it works otherwise.

Awesom cooktop ams only 110V
I just purchased a condo in a high rise downtown Phoenix, AZ. after selling my house in the suburbs. I wanted a really awesome kitchen like I had in my house and had this in-laced in the island. I put a 30” island hood over this. My handyman ran a separate breaker and electrical write for this and put an on/off switch on the outside of the island so I didn’t have to mess with unplugging it. This induction cooktop is awesome and exceeded my expectation. Don’t listen to the stupid review of the buy that complains it need a 20 amp switch. My handyman did the inlay in the island, layer the proper wiring from the breaker box which is on the other side of the condo, installed an on/off switch and picky backed an extra out,etc for me on my island in a half of a day. I would never go back to a ceramic convention cooktop. I am more than happy with my choice.

2 units fried when using the back burner
Ordered this cooktop and installed it in our RV. First trip it worked great for the first couple of days however we were only using the front burner, then on the second day of our trip I turned on the back burner and the whole thing fried. (I was NOT using both burners, just turned on the back one) Went through a mess with customer service but they did end up sending us a replacement. Reinstalled the replacement and just took our first trip since installing (July 4th). First couple of days it worked just fine but again we were only using the front burner. Last day of the trip turned on the back burner (again NOT using both burners) and within 5 minutes the whole thing fried again. You could smell burning metal/plastic both times. I have yet to call customer service and am not looking forward to it.

Amazing!
After one use, I am hooked. This is a great cooktop. I wanted to test it out before installing it, I made some soup. Sauteed some onions: the pot heated quickly, as fast or faster than gas, WAY faster than old-fashioned electric. The buttons are touch-pad style, super-easy to operate. The temperature levels are easy to adjust, and when you increase or decrease the heat, you notice immediately, similar to using gas. If anything you need to turn the level lower than you think. I wanted the soup to simmer, and kept adjusting it down! When the soup needed to simmer for ten minutes, I set the temp at level 2, and set the built-in timer. After ten minutes, the unit shut off. Nice. One thing to note: each burner has a fan underneath for cooling the element. It runs whenever the unit is heating, and makes a little noise. When it's installed in a countertop I don't think you'll really notice, but sitting on the countertop it does make some noise. But compared with the performance, the noise is a non-issue.Once you start using this cooktop, everything else is going to seem second-rate. Highly recommended.

The best cooktop for stainless steel or cast iron. Pro cooks will love
Beautiful unit, minimal and easy to use. I bought this for a vintage rollohome remodel, replacing the propane mini stove.I've used it a few times. It cooks food very well without the need for much power. The settings go from 1 to 10. With 10 utilizing the full 1800W of power. I boil water at the 3 setting in under 3 minutes. I seared a 1" thick steak on my cast iron grill pan last night. I've never had better results on any other stove or cooktop. Cleans easily, installs easily, does not get hot, and most importantly it cooks perfectly. It does have a fan that runs when the unit is in use, but the noise level is minimal, not enough to bother a normal conversation or wine powered soft banter.

Sleek induction cooktop can be inset or placed on counter
Pros:+ Aesthetically pleasing design coordinates with the rest of our kitchen.+ Intuitive touch top buttons with pleasing tone.+ Two burners meets our cooking needs without excess.+ Can sit atop the counter or can also be inset.+ We have not received multiple error messages from this model. When there is an error (as when there is no cookware on the cooktop when it is on), the machine lets out 2 or 3 pleasant beeps before it turns off.+ Energy efficient cooking and standby.Cons:+ Using a standard outlet, the cooktop works, however, the two burners share heating power. For example, if I increase the heat on one burner, it decreases the heat on the other burner. This may be rectified if we have a 110 outlet installed as recommended.Overall:After we purchased a single burner Duxtop and loved induction cooking, my husband convinced me that it would be beneficial for us to purchase a two burner model that we could later inset into our counter when it was affordable for us to do. This cooktop was affordable, but also allowed us the ability to cook side by side manning one burner each. We love that it is sleek and coordinates with the look of our small remodeled kitchen. We are disappointed however at the heat sharing between burners, but once we afford installing a more powerful outlet and new electrical line to our circuit breaker, we will be able to judge its effectiveness more fairly. Otherwise, we enjoy cooking in our kitchen with this product.
