I've just applied this tape to my drip system hose, fingers crossed it works! Apparently a critter was looking for some water and chewed several holes in the hose. The reason for 5 stars, I'm staying positive and will update later. But, I did want to pass on a helpful hint. Cut the tape before you remove the peel of backing!! The tape is VERY sticky which makes it difficult to cut if you've removed the backing, I learned the hard way! And, after reading the instructions, who reads tape instructions! Don't turn the water on for 24 hours! Here's hoping for the best!!!!

My snow plow truck is 27 years old and looks every bit of it—rust everywhere, including the windshield frame. It leaked so badly into the cab that I started keeping body wash and shampoo in the cup holders so I could clean up as I ran errands. Apologies to the family in the Buick who had to endure the terrible pitch of my singing at the stoplight, but hey, I’ve always been one to sing in the shower.I didn’t just slap this Gorilla Waterproof Tape on—I took my time, carefully applying it. At first, it looked really, really good. I’m including a picture of what it looks like now—spoiler: it’s seen better days, but it’s still holding strong.After surviving the worst winter in over 100 years—200+ inches of snow and a brutal ice storm—there are still no leaks. The tape did its job, and I’m impressed.If you need a tough, reliable fix that’s not in any manual, this Gorilla tape earns every one of these five stars.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:It worked! I had 2 air mattresses with leaks and was debating just buying new ones. I am glad I took the chance and bought this tape. Now my only problem is having so much extra tape leftover! Sounds odd, but I look forward to fixing some more leaks with it in the future.

I used the tape to cover a 5 inch gash on the top & side of my vinyl motorcycle seat. After cleaning the seat with isopropyl alcohol, I cut the tape with scissors & pressed it down over the gash. I let the tape sit overnight before sitting on the seat; it held as advertised.I'd give it 5 stars, but, the backing adhesive is so sticky, it stuck to the scissors as I was cutting the piece, separating itself from the tape.

Purchased this to seal the roof rack mounting holes on my 3rd gen Tacoma. So far, it has worked perfectly—no signs of interior leaks even after heavy rain. It adheres strongly and has held up well. I would recommend it to anyone looking to complete a similar project or needing a reliable waterproof seal.

Works very well! I had a small leak at a seam of my in ground pool diverter valve and thought I’d try the Gorilla tape before paying $500 to replace the valve … yup, saved the $500 … how awesome is that?

I as told this was a great option to patch a few small holds in my pool. Upon receiving it’s nice and thick, thicker than all the different pool patches I purchased, and at first it seemed to adhere well, however when I checked a few minutes later, the edges of the tape were already loose and coming up.

I used this twice on my hottub cover. First strip easily came off, removing dirt with it. I noticed that it really adhered to spots I previously added fabric glue, I went ahead and added the glue where the strip will go and let it dry. The strip went on perfectly after that.
