Good solution for replacing snaps.

I was attempting to 'save' a brand new down coat after one half of one of the snaps popped off. The description of this product made me think it would do the trick if I just replaced the one defective part. That was not the case as these were smaller than the original one. I couldn't use them for the repair. Because of the construction of the coat, I couldn't replace one side of the fastener as the new snap slipped right off the other side of the old snap. The way the coat was constructed, it wasn't possible for me to replace both sides of the snap. So, with the shipping it cost around $24.00 for 10 snaps I couldn't use.

Recommend not ordering from Amazon Warehouse - my package was missing half the snaps. However, the snaps are great and very easy to set. They're sturdier than ring snaps.

These Dritz snaps are great quality, that said they are way too expensive and one of the reasons is you can only buy them with the install tools .. they need to sell these as snaps only for those of us that already have 3 install kits! The 5 star rating is based on product quality!

These look to be quality enough anorak snaps and I was excited I finally found some that I could use to repair my jacket. Turns out that the male ball head is too small. I tried 15 mm ones but that piece ended up being the same size. I don't know what else to do and need to find someone who knows a thing about anorak snaps to help find the right part!

I purchased these hammer-on snaps to replace a broken snap on a leather jacket. They were easier to install than I had expected as all of the required tools came in the pack (except for a hammer). Once installed they were very sturdy. If you are looking for a quick and sturdy snap, I would recommend these.

These snaps are easy to install, they're strong and they look great.
